And all those calling lava golem (golava?) Have been proven right.

Although since it’s still in the basement and presumably underground could it be considered a magma golem?

Aw, no. Why did Growlf have to be a traitor?

Also here comes the army of lava men prophesied in the last Derro arc…

it’s likely he was replaced with an impostor

Indeed, his talk with Whitey might be within reasonable range for before, but it was certainly more prideful than anything he said before the infection/substitution.

Well. I’m not sure what to think.

“Your boss” seems to suggest he’s an infiltrator rather than traitor. One of Grinner’s, perhaps?

(Infiltration by way of substitution seems likely. By way of deep cover also looks credible.)

But the payment and “negotiator” kinda suggests he is bought, so … I dunno.

My guess is that he needs the golem dust for his boss’ plans. If this actually is Grawlf, he might go trying to create frankentsein type golems.

As for who his boss is, I don’t think Grinner has any gnolls left in his tribe. So if he is an imposter, he’s still probably not one of Grinner’s. Could be one of Slobber’s tribe, or whichever tribe Grawlf was originally from. His boss could also just be the Viscount, since evidently the boss is high up enough on the chain to have a blueprint of the castle.

Could be, though I would not rule out Grinner having assembled a new tribe, or even having had an extended tribe already.

But I realize I passed rather quickly over “your boss”. Not “the boss” nor “our boss”. Looks like team Derro has hired team Growlf? (For intelligence? They got foundation plans, but they could have handled the fighting themselves …)

Grinner might be the boss of one or other of those teams, but it looks like he’s not the boss of both teams, or they would not have specified “your boss” …

The problem from “it’s a little light.” can be, a quick run upstairs and “Intruders!”

Looks like that motorbike has taken a page from Presti’s book. The blue things on the back look like decanters.

If he’s being coerced, mind-controlled, etc. I’m going to feel a little silly for this, but it is nevertheless still true; Never liked Grawlf. And just noticed he’s technically a Gnoll, took an embarrassingly long time to realise.

Despite being an evil monster (not the same type as our first three heroes), the Captain’s cute and kinda hoping she survives.

It just occurred to me that some surgeon reassembled Grinner between Episodes 3 and 6, and Grawlf is just the sort who might do that. (Took me a while.)

Could also be an illusion, but still I’m not so sure. Grinner isn’t normally this grumpy.

“Your boss”. Who, the shoulder-quasit noble? Should be him, given he called Growlf “an infiltrator”. Growlf, or the fungi he had on a shoulder.
Lot of shoulders, here. I’m all out of ideas. Kinda lost.
    The plot becomes entangled.

Depending on what Grawlf is planning to use that dust on, we may have been a bit too quick to dismiss the poison-tipped ballista.

If it produces golems, I expect Grawlf would want flesh golems.
