Well, maybe he’s not working for Grinner, but it’s clear he’s a fun guy.

Possibly a mix of his old personality with a mind control overlay

Well, that last panel is probably the single most horrifying thing I’ve seen in this comic. And I’m counting multiclass among that.

Yeah, at least multiclass was self-inflicted. And the guy seems perfectly happy being…. whatever he is.

Meanwhile, Grawlf’s a freaking cordyceps zombie.

And what’s worse, he seems perfectly happy with it. (Annoyed with the derro, but happy with it.)

Maybe he’s a very clever creminion, then? That, or it’s just his right arm that’s fungus.

Pretty sure that’s just his arm, since it’s the part that was cut off a few levels ago

At least the issues are clearer. Grawlf’s boss hired the derro and possibly every other attacker.

    So humans are tubthumbers?

    They get knocked down
    But they get up again
You’re never going to keep them down

Never heard of tubthumpers, but I do remember weebles.
“Weebles wobble but they don’t fall down.”

Is it just me, or is there a boot visible in the steam in the third panel? Like, say, from an invisible wizard?

I think the vague boot-ness is a coincidence. I can’t see a way for Presti to be there with Dorilys and Cube not seen.

She also didn’t have time to change out of her pajamas and slippers, but there’s probably a spell for that.

Poor whitey. He may have been fuglier than a room full of wargamers, but he really seemed to be a decent guy.
