Panel two, along the top of the coliseum. The awnings are stretched over the insides, but those little bumps silhouetted against the sky are where the awning supports are anchored.
Just to pick at nits a bit, but you have door hinges on the outside of the door. Hinges typically go on the inside and fold in when opened, hidden behind the door from the perspective we’re given there. Maybe they are special Rusty-proof hinges designed to be able to lock Rusty in because they are inaccessible from the inside?
It looks like a strap hinge. This type of hinge was common in medieval times, and is still used today for decoration. Here’s a very fancy one that I found by searching for “old doors”.
I get the feeling the “Elvish performer, or Elvish impersonator?” line stung her, considering Rue Lily’s attitude and calling her a pelinyarrow (meaning “porcupine”) also emotionally affected her. She’s trying to brush it off, but prejudice is a blade that cuts deep.
I would go further back to explain her funk, at the start of the Mountain Giants’ victory celebration in Stabs’ tavern.
– First Stabs gently tell Roxy that, contrary to her wishes, our bard was not the center of attention during the games.
– Then Roxy meet again Rue Lily – and is rejected again.
(including one time by association, if you count Lily’s disparaging comment about the barbarian status of Roxy’s adopted brother Robespierre’s)
– And finally there is the babbling of this weird aristocrat. Everything he said was meant to chip away at Roxy’s sense of self. How you adventurous types have fame and glory coming easily (not so much, for Roxie). How Rue Lily is a paragon of pale Elvish beauty and nobility and deserves to be famous. Don’t forget proud and rejecting helping hands. Oh, and since Roxy has nothing better to do, could she pass a message along?
Seriously, “some of us will never know the glory of an adoring audience, and must settle for living vicariously” (8-77) is a perfect summary of the fears of millions of people IRL, notably among the artistic-minded – to never be recognized for one’s skills and talents, to spend one’s life in the shadows. Roxy is no exception.
So here she is, all by her lone-self, back at a work she may not enjoy as much because it’s a poor substitute for a real gig, about to cheer a bunch of arrogant elves who would never accept her as one of their own.
The left symbol is the “Green Sox´s”, as seen on the baseballcard of Rue Lily. The other team could be the one from Drago Stormscale (see level-8-56), don´t know their teamname. The Mountain Giants might play against the winner of this one. So Mimic´s on his day off and out for socialising.

Roxy still remembers XD
Like Pepperidge Farms, Roxy still remembers…
“Round bottom elves you make the rockin’ world go round! “
I love how much detail you throw in, Mr. R. I see those supports for the awnings, you rascal.
Awnings? Where?

Roxy’s face in the last panel is great.
Maybe I missed something, but why exactly is she feeling down in the dumps right now?
I get the feeling the “Elvish performer, or Elvish impersonator?” line stung her, considering Rue Lily’s attitude and calling her a pelinyarrow (meaning “porcupine”) also emotionally affected her. She’s trying to brush it off, but prejudice is a blade that cuts deep.
Likely because the “elvish impersonator” crack by the fop made her feel ashamed of her biology/upbringing. See http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/PretenderDiss

At least Mimic makes her smile again…
Just asking, which symbol for which team? Most will assume the Mountain Giants’ symbol is the first one, but I don’t know for sure.

Trust Mimic to try and get to the bottom of things.
