If Roxy was a matchmaker, she wouldn’t need a lighter…

      But she’s not a matchmaker.
She’s an bard, and thus, she’s just FOOD

I dunno if I see Lily offering a human any hands. Fingers, maybe….

Part of a hand, perhaps. Like the flat of it.

Someone misprononced “back of” as “flat of”..

She can offer either. Sometimes both in rapid succession.

There’s not a doubt in my mind, Roxy’s onto him, she’s too good not to know he’s up to something. My concern, however, is whether or not that’s his plan.

The alt text says “Diplomacy? Check.” so maybe Roxy is fooled? We’ll find out.

Did Robespierre not break through the wall opposite the big hole when he broke through? It looked like he did so on page 8-66, but that wall is clearly intact on panel one here.

Some Cleric probably casted Make Whole since then. Gotta love magic.

Apropos of nothing, the speech bubble curves are actually very hard to draw looking right. Props to the artist.

I wonder how many cards he has up his sleeve.

“Which team do you play for?” Have I been on the internet too long, or is that some subtext sneaking in?

I think it’s meant to be, but in a more wonderfully twisty way than usual. Surface, there’s asking about the actual Games. Then, there’s the expected subtext of “Is my flirtation welcome, or am I the wrong gender for you?” Then, given the world, there’s another layer–alignment is a quantifiable thing here.

    “We’ve… bumped into each other.”

I can’t believe that I didn’t catch that joke until the second reading.
