That depends – insurance for barbarians, or insurance against barbarians ?

True. It is vague… on one hand, we have auto, homeowner’s, renter’s, and on the other we now have flood. And possibly tornado and earthquake.

      Yay vague stuff!

Don’t think too hard on things like “dog food” … 😀

Well, you could probably find such insurance, but the premiums would be murder…

      Or perhaps insurance *from* barbarians?

Yeah, but somehow I don’t see Mimic sprouting hundreds of legs and trampling Sir Malevolous (or whatever his name is)…

Either works… certainly, their barbarian has just gone missing.

He looks pretty smug for someone whose pet antipaladin nearly blew his head off a few minutes ago!

      The defense just left.

And he doesn’t know what Dorilys can do with a right-side-up cake, and besides, she doesn’t have one handy.

Maybe Dorilys has the “Beat The Crap Out Of Anyone With Anything” feat?
        That is a thing, right?

          “Improvised Weapon Mastery”?

If it doesn’t exist, it should.

Panel 5: “C’mon, Cindy–I mean Skipper–aw, heck, this shot has been in so many sitcoms, I’m confused!”

You could say that underlighting is…Malevolus.

Dang. When Malevolus isn’t feeling menaced by something, he can pull of some menace of his own.

      February 2, 2017, 4:47 pm | # | Reply

The thing about Malevolus is that he’s SMARTLY villainous.

He might not be an evil genius mastermind, thus why his plot is doomed to fail, but he DOES have some good street smarts in terms of villain behavior. He knows the situation. Targets + Barbarian = bad. Targets – Barbarian = good. And thus, by doing the math, he knows this is a situation where he should have the edge.

Lets hope he doesn’t also calculate what Rust monster – Cube equals.

And this is why you keep your tank informed of your tactics.
No amount of healing can save the rogue
when they are the only target!

That feeling when you aggro the boss right after your tank goes AFK.

Is he holding a flashlight shining up onto his face in that last panel? That works well for extra sinisterness.

Actually he took a seat and ordered a beer to wait for his opportunity. Glow-in-the-dark EviLager™, of course.

“Who’s the guy that just ragequit your bar?”
That is such a meta thing to say, and yet I can completely see her saying that.
    Brilliant.
