    Ah, family.

Never around when you need ’em, but always show up on your doorstep at the worst time.

      Or more colloquially:
“Family, never around when you need ‘em, but always around when they need you.”
Which I suspect is the case.

I’m sensing a theme to Stabs’ family name scheme, but I just can’t quite put my finger on it…

Ugh. Not being able to get the point of the name pattern is really putting me on edge.

There’s a lot of utility in theme naming. It helps dull the edge in paring each other apart over a steak in family affairs. Butter than that, people are far less likely to make like a swiss army and butcher a relative’s name.

No, after hearing he’d be pared with Bowie, he decided his slice of the profits would be razor thin and cut his losses.

“people literally kicking part of the bar”

Actually, the furniture being kicked right now is not an official part of the bar.

For some reason, the name “Stabitha” is funnier than the rest of this comic combined.

Hmm. First Roxy’s brother, now Stabs’ … could family be the theme of this level? Are we going to meet someone in Rusty’s or Mimic’s clans? Or worse, both families at once through inter-monstrous marriage.

A kris (always spelled with the K) is a wavy-bladed dagger of Southeast Asian traditional design.
