Love the faces in panel 5.

Also the sibling dialogue (particularly with “I suggest sister not sit down”–good advice without giving the reason why) feels exactly like how conversations with my own siblings go.

Oh yes, that look on her face indeed. I love it.

Well, OBVIOUSLY that’s what the sign means, Roxy, duh!
And in the future, Roxy gets into the habit of stabbing all her chairs before sitting down, just in case.

A fight club. *sigh* Obviously, let’s not talk about it.

Other patrons thinking “why’s that ef chick trying to start a brawl by hitting that stool against the floor?”

The one time Mimic actually executes his go-to plan, and this is what happens.

In the adult version, mimic uses his glue attack….

Eh, Stabs was guessing right, it’s some form of twiceling mating ritual. Well, looks-for-comrades-in-arm ritual, anyway.
For a number of action heroes who meet their future girlfriend (or boyfriend, according to gender and tastes) this way, the distinction is subtle.

OK, now, who is this smartly-dressed guy in the last panel? My sense of foreboding is tickling.

It’s based off of this wonderful artwork. I’d highly recommend the artist if anyone’s looking for commissions.

Is it just me, or does the guy in panel 6 look suspiciously like Quentin Tarantino?

It is in poor taste to do something you are told not to, and then beat someone else up for it.

At least this time, Robespierre knew it was Mimic BEFORE Roxy sat down.

She may also be proving herself a good applicant for the games, herself.

Indeed, as beating up Mimic shows.

    Robespierre used a pronoun!

No, Tabby, I do believe that was Mimic begging to not receive the beat down that he’s now getting.

“Gus is one who got…” counts, no?

No? He named both himself and Gus by name there. He didn’t say “He is one who got me into games”

“One” is a pronoun, except when it’s a number.

How is it that Roxy is a full elf but her brother appears to be a full human, judging from the ears on both?

I was starting to wonder if the main cast was even the cast anymore! Glad to see Mimic up to old tricks.

Poor Roxy was so surprised, Mimic nearly got a stool sample.

Why is Roxie so disturbed? I mean, he’s male, yeah, but he’s also a bloody Aberrant! It!’a not even a matter of him being a halfling or demon or something, he isn’t even humanoid!

As a bard, she’s aware that anything that happens twice has become a ‘running gag’. Only severe punishment will keep this from happening every time she sits down anywhere.
