…IF the Princess’s booth is back along the back wall; if she’s located along the first or third baselines, that was only a foul ball…and that’s just taking into account the configuration of boring old ‘normal’ baseball; Gnome Baseball may be more complex (q.v. “heading for right first base”)
So, if one of the ball-spikes had impaled his face & just stuck there, would that be considered a “catch”(& therefore an “out”), or would it be a “Home-run”?

How did he even hit the ball? To his tail around for a good swing over home plate I would think that he would have had to deck the catcher.
Rusty is further in front when he hits the ball than in the panel before, maybe he did some sort of charge?
Any guesses as to what Sir Malevolus was about to say then the ball hit him in the face?

I don’t know baseball, but I’m pretty sure that you have to be a member of the opposing team to catch someone out.
