Yeah, not to mention the dander. Do you know how hard it is to find a four-dimensional Hoover?

          Simple, you buy one.

Contrary to popular belief, we don’t exist on only three dimensions. We also exist at some point in time.

Now you’re just “Hair-Splittling”, AKA: “Lawyering”.
We take the dimension of “TIME” so-much for granted, that the phrase “4-Dimensional” is employed to mean “4 SPACIAL dimensions”, each existing at right-angles to all of the other 3 special dimensions at the same time.

            [DMC_Run]:
More like hyperspace, or perhaps metaspace. Space divorced from time is pretty much defined as being three-dimensional, just as a plane is defined as being two-dimensional.

            [Pretzelcoatl]:
But no matter HOW many spatial dimensions we postulate, wouldn’t they all need to possess “Duration”, AKA: “Time”?
To_Be_Clear: I’m NOT trying to be ‘smart-ass’, here. I want to be sure that I understand.
            P.S.:
Sorry for the ‘typos’ in the original msg:
“spacial” / “special” were BOTH supposed to be spelled, “spatial”.

I’m tempted to make a comment about Morlocks. Regardless, the idea of time as a dimension is an old one and debatably obsolete. Time and space are related, but calling time a dimension seems more like making generalizations and splitting hairs than actual science

Well, time is still considered a dimension in that without it we only have space dimensions with no motion. there has to be a dimensional element to provide that motion which is what we call a time dimension.

I think we always understate the number of dimensions. For example we talk about length, width and height as our only dimensions but what about position? Similarly time is referred to as a single position, so why do we talk about past, present and future? Wouldn’t time also have start, current and duration (at least) as dimensions?

All that aside, at least one current quantum theory requires multiple (I don’t remember how many but at least a dozen) physical dimensions to make sense of things at a sub-atomic level. Does that promote time to the 16th dimension? ^_~

We may “exist” in all dimensions, but unless something manifests from those dimensions they may well not be present for the time being.
Time appears to be something separate from space. We exist in a single temporal dimension (or not even that, given how we strictly go forwards), though we exist in 3 dimensions physically and our minds can conceive of 4 dimensional circumstances.

Nope. His left hand is still at the base of the axe handle, which is where it was at the end of the last strip. I think that’s standard grip for a righty on a baseball bat, with the right hand above the left hand.

Looks like Big and Ugly is finally starting to give Angel his full attention. Two big claws moving in…

Robbie’s stance and swing reminded me of a time I was sitting just under the edge of Candlestick Park’s second deck, a bit to the right of home plate, when Orlando Cepeda whacked a low, outside fastball almost literally out of the park. If it’d flown about a quarter degree higher it would have missed the top edge of the seat it hit in the right-center upper deck and wound up in the parking lot.

You gotta give credit where it’s due…

…that was an AWESOME pitch by Drago.

And yes, Robbie is very much learning how to ‘use’ people in better and better ways (I feel the DM would give his player an extra WIS increase when all this is over.)

A powerful pitch – and since Robespierre hit it, it doesn’t matter if Draco pitched it directly at him or not; in this game paranoia is normal, expected, and life-saving! The big question is, if the whole bag o’ balls makes it out of the park — how does it get scored? One run or many, or a “special victory condition” of some sort?
