That’ll be a delivery fee of one hamstring, Mr. Purple. We may settle for an Achilles tendon.

Possibly an ACL or two. You skiers know what I’m talking about! Or something else. Certainly it will be something below the belt.

A person can survive with only one kidney, right? We’ll just take one of those.

I wonder how this will turn out. Yes, Sir Malevolus is evil, but he’s not Stupid Evil. He’s quite willing to negotiate, though having a halfling hostage might sweeten the deal. Like the frosting on a cake, so to speak.

No matter which way you cut it, things are looking interesting.

Keep in mind that the guy is also out to muder Dirk and Kris.

In a prison cell, in front of witnesses, is neither the time nor the place for murder. He can’t have his cake and eat it too.

He was willing to do it in Ye Proverbial Hook. And he’s got more to be angry about, here.

I have the sneaking suspicion that Malevolous is planning a bake-out.

Compared to his earlier idea (with Rusty’s assistance) of a breakoff?

Or he’ll get rewarded with his freedom for stopping Stabs’s “escape attempt,” fulfilling the prophecy.

So is the Doogan freeing the evil? Or is the evil freeing the Doogan? A case can be made for either interpretation.

What if the Doogan shall free the stade, and the evil just happens to be there?

I’m sure Derrick is looking favorably on every spell slot he spent at the games earlier.

    Say it with me, people.

Wisdom as a dump stat, NEVER EVER.

Oh, I don’t know about that. I once roleplayed a warrior with both Intelligence and Wisdom as dump stats. It was entertaining to be able to do any funny-dumb thing I thought of and get away with it. 🙂

Malevolous heard about Derik’s offer, so he wants to throw Dirk’s hat in the ring.

Could someone maybe link me or tell the episode that the purple guy is introduced. I honestly don’t remember him.

‘He was introduced as a gag character’ – I think that applies to everything in this comic. Including the main characters.

Oh, phew, thanks for the reassurance there, Malevolous! I was a really worried there for a moment, but if you say it’s fine, it’s fine.

If he let one halfling free, he could release the other as well. To catch halflings, you need to catch them all.

Don’t interfere, Derik! I sense that Norm’s gift of a cake has started something that will flour into an amazing relationship with Mr. Purple!

If the halfling invested in the Escape Artist, he could release himself from the grapple, otherwise it would be hard with his abysmal STR. However, he would probably need some more INT for that investment.
