I like this new announcer already! I sense some drama in the press box!
I don’t know… his commentary might drag on a bit.
I think all announcers tend to do that, although none quite to the scale of this guy.
It does feel like he’s horning in a little. I get the feeling he’s winging it, but maybe he’s got a great tale he can weave into the commentary.
I might get burned for this, but I feel he scales up from Roxy.
So, uh, why is it again that Robespierre can’t play? Tried to dig in the recent pages for an answer, but the arc just seems to never mention him in the last 40 pages or so.
Or rather, not show him/his side of the story.
As I recall, he got mad because the other teammates and their “tactics” and “clever thinking” were getting all the glory, and stalked off through a wall. After that, no one is sure what happened to him. So, as far as anyone knows, it’s not that he can’t play, so much as he just hasn’t shown up and they needed to get the game started (or else forfeit, and Stabs doesn’t want to do that).

There is one way this could turn out to be good. Any attempts by Drago to bait Slobspierre are likely to be complete failures.
I wonder if Rusty got them another for his commentary.

Hmm… why does the dragon only speak in lowercase? Is he trying to use his inside voice or something?
He’s probably hoarding all of his uppercase letters for the big reveal.
Maybe he’s just a big e.e. cummings fan.
