Don’t pass it to Roxy! She’s not even on your team.

OTOH, she does have a point. Roxy kicked it off

Princess is a monk PrCed into DM’s girlfriend, right? She should have wisdom through the roof and sense motive as a class skill. That elf better hope she nat 20s her bluff, or she’s gonna be eating those words. And her teeth.

What bluff? Roxy’s chant did start the whole thing, from her point of view.

She’s not lying. Other than the fact that the Green Sox were swapped out for Creminions in the first place (which may or may not have been a violation of Games rules, I have no idea), everything that happened *is* Roxy’s fault.

While TECHNICALLY true, Princess already sorta knows Roxy, while Lue here is a stranger. I wonder how this is gonna play out?

But…but….being TECHNICALLY correct is the best kind of correct – isn´t it?

All Roxy has to do is say “Some Viscount guy asked me to chant it for Lily here”. Chances are, Princess knows exactly who the Viscount is, and it helps deflect Lily’s attempt to shunt all the blame.

What sort of idiot reads a chant in an unknown language in a world with known magic?

The sort that the Princess does not tolerate gladly.

tbh the chant likely wasn’t magic, just a signal of sorts for the creminions.

Maybe it was, maybe it wasn’t. Either way, she had no way of knowing it wasn’t, or if it would have other effects.

Roxy, make sure you hand that card to the Princess, as part of your defense.
I would NOT trust Lily to translate it accurately, since she currently seems willing to say whatever she thinks will shift the blame off herself.
The only thing I see that Roxy’s currently guilty of, is disrupting the game by unmasking Lily’s deception.
Only time (& the Author) will tell whether Lily’s “ringers” are legal-or-not to play.
Given Roxy’s willingness to run TOWARDS the trouble (rather than try to make a guilty escape), I’d have the Princess’ Royal Sage take a look at the card, & try to translate it.

I dunno. Passing the blame doesn’t seem convincing in this situation. It has the finesse of wearing a shirt that says, “I’m with stupid”.

At first glance, I thought that flask was a cigarette lighter. Which would be kind of unnecessary, since she’s already smoking (literally).

Speaking of which, she’d better be sure there’s no flames nearby before opening up that whiskey.

She actually likes to drink her whiskey aflame.

Not the whiskey, mind you, that’d be a waste of alcohol.

I know Roxy is half elf, but I’m pretty sure that’s the first time she’s been fingered by an elf!

Roxy is a full-blooded elf. She was just reared by humans.

Considering the location of some of those burn marks, the princess may be showing the audience a bit more skin than she expected today.

“… I see Princess’ boxer shorts.”

It doesn’t really rhyme, now, does it? 😉

I see a strong likeness between the princess and Granma Ben (from Bone) in the first four panels.

Friggin’ Elves! Seriously, worst race (with exceptions) conceivable, even with my personal racism against Gnomes.
