Unless I’m mistaken (don’t have my rulebook handy, so I can’t check), can’t benefit from evasion if you’re grappled.
Normally, Evasion works fine as long as you’re not helpless, which would be either paralyzed or unconscious.
In 3.x at least, pinned counts as helpless for situations like that.
