I call this the Power of Human Stupidity, and have routinely applied a little bonus to characters with INT 6 or less So long as the 3 mental stats average 11 or better, because they never knew it couldn’t be done.
I think Maddie may have a Bonus on attack if she fights blind, hence why she tends to close her eyes. Since the Bonus is probably only counted when she hits an enemy.
This could be a trap.

using discretion, a podwer bombe and ventriloqui spell, this is an easy set up.
