Stabs just climbed way up my list of favorite characters.

Trouble is…now they’re ALL my favorite character.

Well that means just one thing…a naked battle in a tub of jello for supremacy!…well, Except Cube cause that would be weird.

Don’t give us that, we all know you read the pages during the first level where cube was rubbing sides with another cube…

It really is a major problem with series like this one. ‘Every girl is best girl’, but in this instance it’s hard to even pick a favourite.

Is it wrong that I just pictured them all on top of the ladder, trying to shove each other down?

hmm. . . that’s a familiar looking form of gold. Has Stabs already taken advantage of their trip to enrich herself?

If you look back at 7-18 Stabs is seen carrying a large sack full of something as they exit the dimension.

Actually, I’d assume the bag is probably her dagger collection. She can apparently conceal over 80 of them on her person, but that’s hardly enough for a big job like this one…

    Looking in your eyes …

And golden lady, golden lady, I’d like to go there.
Golden lady, golden lady, I’d like to go there.
    Take me right away

Looking at your hands. Hands can understand
Waiting for the chance just to hold your hand

(or at least what’s in it. Hah.)

Hmmm, so far we’ve had Perkins go for the Jugular (Juggler), and now Stabs has remembered her magic words….So far, so good.

Bribe is such a dirty word. I prefer ‘reasonable compensation for your troubles’

One of the ‘Real Rules of Dungeon Delving’ that I spotted elsewhere on the Net ran:

      * Don’t be ashamed to offer bribes. Your usual Plan A is wholesale slaughter; how can bribery possibly be more immoral than that?

And there’s also the First Law of the Stainless Steel Rat (one which every rogue/thief I’ve ever run has honored):

      * Why not be generous? As long as there are banks to rob, you’ll never run out of money.

I wish you had a link to that “Real Rules”, I like compiling this sorts of lists and then using lines from them as “advice” from the Rumors Chart…

The fun thing about bribery is that if you bribe someone, then kill them and take back your bribe, if nobody else (who will talk) knows about it, you can keep doing it over and over.

Of course, the real way to extract information…

“You’re half-right. I am too nice to torture a captive. I am not, however, above summarily executing them (in as humane a manner as possible,) and interrogating their corpse. What will it be?”

“We’re ok, I’ve bribed the minion.”
“Fool, what if Grinner offers him more?”
“Don’t worry, he’s very honest. Once he’s bribed, he stays bribed!”

Alright everyone now I want a nice clean game. That means no wizards, no taunting the opposing team when you kill one of their players, and no bribing the ref to not accept a bribe, he’s union.

I love the fact that he’s changed position and gained the use of his other hand, but used it to polish and replace his monacle, rather than free his impaled hand

He knows the rule, if he unpins his hand she’ll just have to pin something else, like both hands, or something infinitely more painful…

I’ve got to admire how calm that guy is with A FREAKING KNIFE THROUGH HIS HAND!!! And that is indeed a magic word that opens many doors. Even better if she gives it to him in the form of a blow to the head.

Bribery, so effective, the bible endorses it too:

Proverbs 21:14: A gift given in secret soothes anger,
and a bribe concealed in the cloak pacifies great wrath.
