Of course everyone suddenly stops fighting and heads out onto the roof together to watch the spectacle.

No sense waiting inside, after all, wouldn’t you be a little curious about what your impending/inevitable doom looked like?

It’s like that meteorite in Chelyabinsk – you wouldn’t want your first words after death to be “Wow, didn’t see that one coming”.

The comment of the messenger bird is really REALLY worrying, though… So, reality being destroyed is such a common occurrence that the messenger bird looks forward to it because it really is good for business? XD XD XD XD

Good grief, the world of Rusty *must* be a very interesting place to live in XD

they’re only sixth level and they’ve run across two reality-threatening issues. It must be common.

That’s D+D/Tabletop of any sort in a nutshell. Town/World’s always under threat so the Heroes have something to do. There’s never an off-season for Adventuring.

Yep… in that line of work, you can’t turn over a rock without uncovering a threat to existence – mad scientists, apocalypse-cultists, and so forth. You get a bit blasé about it after a while.

I am sorry, and self-hating, to say that “y’all” (contraction of “you all”) has the apostrophe in the wrong place. IT’S AN EARTH-SHAKING APOSTROPHE! Sorry … sorry … sorry. *whimper*

Depends on the dialect. Y’all is a contraction of a correctly pronounced “you” and “all”. “Ya’ll” is a contraction of the incorrectly-pronounced “Ya” and “all”.

That said, the secondary dialect also pronounces “get” as “git” and “that” as “thet”. Y.T. has not evinced those particular idiosyncracies and is therefore unlikely to normally use that dialect.

      A mere typo, now corrected.

      But how!?
      …

      …
      …he’s SUPERMAN!

You’d have to be Superman to avoid coming back in this strip. Remember the dwarf whose axe they were after, first adventure?

Unimpressed elder god is unimpressed (and a little peeved about being introduced into such a stereotypically non-stereotypical setting).

Can somebody explain to me what it is? The God I mean. I can’t really make sense of it.

It’s an eldritch abomination, a horror that defies mortal understanding. You’re not SUPPOSED to be able to make sense of it.

It is an old ancient Greek concept, coming from their theater (plays); ‘God in the Machine’ or ‘by machine’ where the plot is saved or the character (s) by a plot device; sort of like how the GM’s favorite NPC or his wife/GF’s character never dies. 🙂

Question: When did change shirts? (It used to be a Princess shirt.)

Sometimes the strip doesn’t get finished until 3am. Sometimes when that happens… mistakes are made.

No problem. I understand how minor continuity things can get misplaced on occasion. 😉

Perhaps they’re sending for Madeline’s party? Seeing how madeline handled the Remorhaz, they must be a pretty powerfull bunch.(Not that my DnD knowledge would fill a thimble, mind.)
