Why, such a silver-tongued devil — we didn’t know you had it in you, Mimic!

Probably just as well Madeline isn’t there.

Well, she is tough and deadly– we’ve seen that much– and as far as Paladins go, the “cunning” bar usually isn’t very high. (Although I have seen one with +1 Holy Dentures for fighting succubi, so it’s not like the bar is nonexistent…)

Oh, it could easily be three out of three, depending on how much experience our friend here has with paladins…

I want a cutaway panel of her rollerskating kin.

‘Rollerblading’ would have been 1% more anachronistic and 8% funnier…

makes sense… Rollerskates came before rollerblades… so in a fantasy setting…

        Rollerderby Yuan-Ti…

            Now that would be cool!

            Positively icy cold in fact.

But it doesn’t have any nice S’s in it like ssskate does. : D

I’m ever so slightly disappointed by the fact that the Yuan-Ti isn’t a good one so much that she’s been affected by the relic herself. I mean, if a Mimic, Rust Monster and a Cube can become good why can’t a Yuan-Ti?

None of those monsters are evil to begin with. I agree with your sentiment, though.

the possibility — probability — of all this level’s monsters reverting back to evil after they deal with the relic is sad.

I would like it better if they could only prevent it affecting more monsters and then they can go back and have pizza and listen to Shakespeare from a suitable distance. . .

      I suppose we shall see.

So true. I mean, in the case of the gibbering mouther, it’s basically a Lovecraftian version of Flowers for Algernon–going from hideous, drooling monster to genius and back again. I hope that dude survives somehow. QQ

To my knowledge, there’s nothing in this setting that says a yuan-ti can’t be naturally good-aligned.

      This one isn’t.

Might have to start my own webcomic. Or is that a terrible idea?

          Great idea.

We shall suspend judgment on the execution until you come back and direct us to the webcomic.

E’yup. Especially when you find out your watch is broken and toss it across the room.
