His head is a limp sack! Can anyone believe his head was an empty limp sack? 😛

By the way, that image of Perkins could double for failing a SAN loss roll, too. 😀

Always a surprise ending. Good show! 😀

Well, it *wasn’t* ‘a limp sack’ full of bone fragments and headcheese…until Presti pulled the trigger.

so… anyone care to figure out the muzzle velocity of a wet badger?

and why did that bader come out tail end first?

If it did, its back leg is pretty messed up. I’m pretty sure it came out head-first.

Hind legs tend to be more muscular than front legs… then there’s the bit sticking out at the ‘front’ of the back of his head… is that a tail or an elephant trunk?

Damn Vinnie… having badgers going though his mind during a climatic fight like this…

With help from the original “Launch of the Badger” I think I figured out how the badger is positioned inside the head.
(Wow, that sentence would be weird without context…)
The leftmost and rightmost protrusions are its front limbs (the raised claw is nearly identical to the one in the last strip with a badgerlauncher, The middle protrusion, which I realised later, the sound balloon points to, is the head.

A visual aid for those having difficulty visualizing the badger in the cranium: http://i.imgur.com/ezXHJ.jpg
(Please pardon my rushed MS Paint job, but it should get the idea across)

junii: What is the air-speed velocity of a wet badger?

What do you mean? An African or a European badger?

Well, he didn’t get a ‘bottle in front of me’, but he *did* get a ‘frontal lobotomy’.

Interesting twist. And no deus ex machina. (Instead, it’s a mustelid ex machina.)

The only sad thing is that I don’t get to see the badger’s facial expression… although its dialogue is hilarious. V’innie should be grateful that Perkins didn’t use the Bag of Tricks that has a tendency to produce a rhinoceros.

You know, I was trying to find a good badger-related pun, but with lil miss mage sporting those killer’s eyes there I plumb forgot what I was going to say and ran for the hills.

It takes a certain lack of sanity to be willing to take that kind of abuse in order to wait for that special opening. Well worth the wait.

    “Based on a true story.”

… I, for one, would love to hear that story.

    Also, Mr. Welch’s list, entry 2016;
“While extremely cool, my superhero needs something more than just a gun that fires badgers at people.”
