Did he just pick up those reinforcements on the way to the sanctum?

It’s the sort of thing that makes you glad that Cube and Rusty were pointed this way.

Mimic, you didn’t even say a word as they approached. What’s wrong with you?

I bet Mimic’s busy looking up Perkin’s skirt.

I seem to recall that this was made up of minor magic items -stuff nobdoy would really care about stockpiles of. I don’t really remember Gems of True Seeing as being “minor”.
I’m probably just annoyed at being wrong about the most likely effect.

Also having a hard time deciding how sincere the ” continue poking around the explody thing” is…

Yeah, gems of true seeing are major items worth 75,00gp each, and brooms of flying are medium items worth 17,000gp each. Not sure how they got this together without anyone noticing. Especially the alchemists fire. It may be really cheap, but I’d be suspicious if someone was stockpiling it.

Yeah, but the guidance system is always the most expensive part of a missile.
And didn’t they say they’d been stockpiling this stuff over a long time?

Maybe they got their magic items from a certain gnome.

Well, looks like a mexian standoff; if the missile goes boom! So do the bad guys. Wonder what the rest of the group is doing?

Waiting for the Cube to drop.

But I agree with Handsom D’an that satisfaction is happy sauce, all those fabulous neurotransmitters.

At least it isn’t an Anti-Osmium bomb.

She should climb inside and start fiddling with wires and switches.

It’s a real gas on the way up – and once it reaches apogee, she’ll be all ridin’ that bronco way down like Major T. J. Kong…
