Oops. Guess it is “Skeletor”. Hm. Rusty should jump him first.

I mean, he is the Man in the Back. Sort of. There are a few other patrons behind him, but it’s likely he arrived fashionably late.

Looks like he put a few points in badassery.

Still, we have to see just how much.

Given that most of the attendees are not particularly formidable, and that the princess probably does not mind kicking their asses just cause they are mind controlled, I don’t think this will be a problem.

Anyone besides me notice Calametus’ metal arms?

Makes me wonder, isn’t there a few types of metal Rust Monsters can’t eat? I wonder if Calamitas wised up and did a bit of investing or some alchemic experimentation.

Also, I wonder how well Princess is going to do against a massive throng of fans all at one time. She’s done awesome before, but it was always small groups from what we’ve seen before.

To be fair, while he was an idiot, he did have a bit of firepower on his side of things, what’s with being capable of crashing down a whole tower on his enemies… Barring any interferences from the Cube…

I was waiting for this from the point I read the first part of the chapter.

On an unrelated note, Harpy New Year to all my fellow readers – I hope the Pixie Chicks can lead us in a good round of “Auld Lang Stirge”.

The origins of Rusty: http://friends.portalofevil.com/sp.php?pi=1000728957 – ignore the first post, it was just me scoffing at mere mortal programmers on a completely unrelated topic before the thread turned into something rich and strange.

That was the second thread involving Rusty & Co., but it links to the earliest episodes. The whole thing began as a mild beard-pulling session that evolved into a reducio ad absurbum about monsters as player characters and the inherent blasphemy therein. Mike (therein known as “Brass”) stepped in and knocked the ball over the left-field bleachers and into history.

The participant Hummana Hummana Hummana (or “Hummana cubed”) worked for Gary Gygax briefly before his (Gygax’s) death. The length and luxuriance of his beard are impeccable.

Happy New Year all, and rock on, Mike.

Princess looks to be showing more than a hint of fang in the 3rd panel. When did that happen? I was expecting the next song to be “The kids are all wight”. What, too soon?

She doesn’t have to be a vampire: she’s Joan Jett. Already stronger, faster, and oh so much more angry.

So…Chaotic Good, of the Mind domain (allowing both Turn Undead AND Dominate Person, Mass)?

“Good” seems improbable. Everyone thinks they’re the hero of their own story, but some people’s beliefs are just wrong.

In hindsight, it was a good thing that rusty set up the booth in the front. Hopefully, it reduced the amount of people in the audience.
