Wait, there was a plan already in place before Mimic got shanghaied? Or was it just in our cute paladin’s head and she forgot to share?
And introducing gunpowder into anything never goes well for what it is introduced into.

There’s ALWAYS a plan. Multiple plans, in fact. Rusty’s plan is “eat .” Mimic’s plan is “disguise ourselves as common, unassuming pieces of furniture.” Maddie’s plan is “smite baddies, and blush at the thought of a certain cleric.”

Cube’s plan is inscrutable, but effective.

Cube’s plan is “win” and it works

I just discovered this comic this evening and it’s absolutely brilliant! The jokes are great, the characters are immediately endearing, and the art’s fantastic! Even the comments section is a hoot! Bookmarked, expect to see me again!

@Samsonguy – in my experience, a large explosion is pretty much always the defacto signal. “The castle blew up? That must be where our missing party member is!”

Speaking as a DM, I wish it weren’t true. Yet it is indubitable.

Looks like the alt-text didn’t quite get finished here.

I like how French-ish you made her, without going over the top. Nice combo of style and restraint.

Re-reading this after just a “few” years.

Just noticed that mimic IS still in the second panel looking like a roller up rug?/mat. His lips visible as what initially appears to be just a fold
