*giggle*choke*snerk* Love panel 3. I know I couldn’t see the ‘Holy Avenger’ for the weed whacker. She’s just gotta keep it away from Rusty, though. No Mulligan. Take the slice and dice and play it where it falls.

Considering she just wiped an entire tavern clean of people, I’d say she knows how to hoe down.

Yeah, “Hoe-ly Avenger” – that really WAS worth the build-up! (and she looks so naively cute, too! ^_^ )

Catching up on the comic after losing track of it due to computer failure. Actually, falling for a scam like that is more like Wis as a dump stat than Int — a questionable choice for a Paladin.

Slightly reminds me of the Hoe of Destruction from Ultima VII… without the doomishly reddish glow, though.

They’re a decent weapon in Harvest Moon / Rune Factory.

to be quite fair, a lot of weapons started life as farming tools.

    RE: Alt-text:
Nope! Pathfinder made their spellcasting Charisma-based, so my paladin dumped Wisdom. Worst. Cook. Ever. =D

Actually, almost every character I’ve ever created has used Strength for a dump stat. On a related note, almost every character I’ve created has taken Weapon Finesse as their first feat.

      Similar here.
Strength and / or (less advisably) Constitution.
But then I think my days of playing Sorcerers are behind me. Having 18 points of Charisma seems nice on paper, but when it is useless for anything other than moar fireballs, it ends up being a bit of a lode.

Well I’ve got an Elven Wizard who dumped both STR and CON, my Gnomic Skald dumped WIS so hard that it’s a miracle she hasn’t told the wrong person the wrong thing about a certain notorius pirate, and the Half-Orc Paladin just barely managed to avoid dumping DEX since no one should have their best AC be flat-footed.

You’ve heard of Shovel Knight? That must be Hoe Barbarian. Not to be confused with Barbarian Ho-
