She’s not just smiling, she’s *cheerful*.

      So much for subtle effects.

Did he alter Dorilys’s good luck to bad luck? That would change the odds. To misquote, “the gods of luck do roll dice.”

Dorilys is normally very careful about using her luck powers. Because if she uses it carelessly, it could be really bad. And that sounds like a rather subtle change, doesn’t it?

Dorilys is a cleric of luck. Not good luck. Not bad luck. Luck.

Remember that her reaction to being turned green with the rest of her party was that their luck could have been worse.

I suspect she’s too happy to have good judgment.

I asked chatGPt and it told me that being volunteered by an automaton was actually a good thing….

I am gonna laugh if the way the defenders figure out what is going on is that the Princess stops smoking.

Also, the formerly Wight Knight was being very open about the workshop being an important place to defend. Odd info to give out.
I wonder if there’s a spy in that group that the Princess knows about?

Oh ye foolish bucket of bolts, and not the guiding kind. Don’t you know that pride is positively correlated with a fall?

I wonder if he mistakenly used the Python on himself without realizing it.

If it can make a gibbering mouther intelligible and loquacious, it can make a humble genius into a arrogant dunce.
