Let us hope their work in the Games has honed their skills.

When he says, “it involves glue and explosives,” my next thought is that Anti-M would love to deploy that.

We still don’t know where she got off to with the Belt of Genre Changing, do we?

Roxie, if you’re going to feel guilty about how you dealt with Skippy, maybe you shouldn’t have suckered him into going into the troubled waters of the Afterlife. You could have recruited him to bedevil the enemy, instead.

I worry for Miss Kasbaugh, I do. She’s had to go through a lot, and she’s not dealing with it all that well.

A lot of musicians who get hooked on drugs and alcohol tend to not end up well.

‘Guess what I invented! It involves glue and explosives!’
Well, as my gnome loved to say “It’s not an invention unless it explodes. Intentionally or otherwise.”

Any experiment that leaves a crater is a success.

Dirk, no. You are a Halfling, not a Gnome.

They are Stabs’ cousins, after all. They might be only half Halfling.

        Would that make them quarterlings?

Do quarterlings live in their quarters and ride quarter horses?

Could mean you can play an extra minion on their base if they’re the only one you have there. And they might wield quarter-quarterstaves.

The problem with quarter-quarterstaff wielders is that they give no quarter.

If you mess with them you’ll be quartered.

Glue and explosives. It’s going to make a mess. Whether that mess is going to be sticky or visceral or both is a matter of debate until it’s revealed.

Beat me to it 🙂 It’s still undecided which side it was more dangerous to.

An actual conversation with The Princess.

“Front lines” may be a poor choice of station for a bard, though.

A bard doesn’t belong at the front of an adventuring party, but an adventurer might belong at the front lines of an army. She can ignore her magic entirely and still be better than the grunts–and why would she ignore her magic?

Presti was on the front, after all. Bards do better there than Wizards.
