Respective charisma scores aside, Cube saved her life and gave her a complimentary hug/massage/spa treatment. That’s a whole lot more endearing than ‘slip on this banana peel until you stop getting embarrassed.’
I have to wonder why that guy helped her. Just what is he after? Is he going to swipe the stone from them as soon as they get it? Or is his boss the main villain that they’re trying to defeat so he’s helping them to succeed so he can take over?
The rhyming villains have a plan, an agenda. They’re moving Roxie into position to do something she presumably can’t do as long as Skippy has the Varial Stone — and he’s a chaotic factor, not part of the Evil Plan ™
The devils seem to want to create more tears in reality like the one where the castle dungeon used to be. You need artifacts for this, such as the python or the 8 ball. The varial stone is an artifact, so it could perhaps open another rift. Plus, Presti will taking it inside a rift. Maybe they’re planning to open one rift inside another?
That could be catsastrophically bad…or it might work, depencs om the script 😉
Just try not to think about what happens when you open a bag of holding inside a portable hole.
It might be a ‘crossing the streams’ moment…or not.
Feels like Rusty should get a little credit for the training. Or maybe Cube is done with the training but Rust is still saying “Do again,” and who can blame him?
