Ah, a veteran of the click-and-point games. Pick-up everything, you never know when it may come handy. Also, always know where your towel is.
Oh, and Stab truly made it. Front page, Rogue of the Season.

Stand to reason that Vogue — oops — Rogue would be on the latest fashion trends. Like shoes for halflings.

Mimic is just having trouble adjusting to a party member with a positive charisma bonus that isn’t Cube.

Hoarding everything isn’t enough. You also need to know how to create the unintuitive combinations of different items that solve your incredibly specific problem.

By that logic, Roxy and Presti would be unbeatable at Point and Click Adventure games. Roxy hoards the items, Presti turns them into badger launchers.

Madeline could beat them. She turns the items into the items needed.

Cool and froody. If only she sassed a strag who could lend them their star trolley. Then they wouldn’t need the zarking artifact

Ah, Checkov’s slingshot, four Checkov’s bananas, Checkov’s eyepatch (he had an accident with his gun, once), Checkov’s dental floss, and a towel, which I’m pretty sure it’s not Checkov’s; he seems like a fellow who wouldn’t be found without it.

So everyone is playing D&D, while Roxy is in a point-and-click adventure game.

Eh, that could be part of D&D. RPG have traditionally three main axes – fights, social interactions, and puzzle games. Granted, the latter are usually about finding traps or moving the discs of some Hanoi towers knock-off.
Anyway, Bards are generally good at the two latter games.

        – Tower of Hanoi
        – Slide puzzle
        – Rotate the pipe sections
        – Sheep-grain-wolf river crossing
        – Pick the numbers that add up to X
        – Light up the whole grid by turning the light you click and its neighbors on and off
        – Push the block onto the button

Surely the number of axes depends on the number of dwarves and/or barbarians in the party.

Yes, and a time-honored way to solve most of these puzzles is with “dwarven lockpicks” (meaning, a battle axe).

A battle axe? That won;t cut stone. Nah, Dwarven “lockpicks” are either explosives or a pickaxe.

The question is if we guess which one will not be used will the Author see it as a challenge to work it in anyway?.

Can’t fault you for that. Off the shoulder is a flirty look. Maybe less so with the bloody fangs and contemptuous eyes, but to each their own.

You know what? I suspect those are all callbacks to previous levels. The bananas could be from the Derro circus, the eyepatch from Plaidbeard’s crew, and the towel from the Games. Not sure about the slingshot though.
