Run away is always sound advice. Especially when you have giant castle willies attacking you.

Was panel 3 supposed to be so suggestive? Or was it a (happy?) accident?

You should read the author’s commentary for Fritz Leiber’s “The Jewel of the Forest” which is about raiding an enchanted tower for the treasure it contains, and it turns out that the tower is animated and tries to squash down the thieves in pretty much the same way that the castle golem attacks with its towers here.

Say, isn’t Derek’s study under the castle? The one with the blown up 8 ball in it?

No, that’s under the Stadium. Since the crack in reality tore it’s way up through the stadium.

    Brave Sir Robin ran away
    Bravely ran away, away
When danger reared it’s ugly head, he bravely turned his tail and fled

    (1) Windows are gone from the outer wall, no more sad face. -_-

    (2) The castle straddled the moat pretty easily. Still waiting to find out why they opted to drain it.

      2) Maybe in order to keep the treasure dry?

Thank you, Mario. But our princess is in– well, she’s not in THIS castle.

Strange idea. We know the princess is elsewhere. What if the castle is acting under a command to seek and destroy the princess?

Has anyone else every played the pinball game Medieval Madness???? It suddenly hit me that this castle looks almost like the castle you have to destroy in the game.
