How many different spritzers does the Viscount have? Or was the ‘earthquake’ caused by something else?

Was the fungus holding the castle together? Did the Magma golems undermine the castle before entering the basement? Seems unlikely, since the derro were still inside…

Pretty sure it was the blue powder that animated the magma golems, applied liberally to the castle walls.

Oh no… that makes far too much sense. And it explains the Viscount’s comment to Malevolus last page.

…I notice that the chapter title is “Castle Life.”

One suspects the moat is — connected.

    But those are some spritzers.

The fact that he tosses the Spritzer into the moat (or the empty space formerly known as Moat) in panel 4 is easily missed, but quite possibly related…

Yes! He had to get the stuff down there without the water in the way!

        Maybe!

Keith, I am glad you caught that. I didn’t notice until you pointed it out. The motorbike is there!

Will Dorilys get a chance to topple some towers, or will they topple before she has a chance?

… or… will the towers topple Dorilys? (given the golem powder)

A golem castle is kinda scary.

And don’t forget Fritz Lieber’s “Jewels in the Forest” (1957). https://www.baen.com/Chapters/ERBAEN0088/ERBAEN0088___2.htm

Well, the chapter’s title makes so much more sense now…

Why is what leaking? Or more to the point, what is Presti talking about that is leaking, and what is it leaking?

Hint: Take a good look at the last panel of the previous page.

Yeah, and there’s nothing leaking there either.

Unless those two blobs that appear to be stone are supposed to be the “leaks” Or something.

In other words, it’s not particularly obvious as there is nothing on this page to show anything leaking and those blobs just look like stone.

Nah, the left blob has a drippy bit that extends past the limits of the ceiling. It’s subtle and I didn’t see it on my first read either, but there is visible liquid.
