Princess is back on the throne? And just chilling while there is (or at least was) an attack on the castle? Small wonder she wanted out of this life, it must be boring as hell. Get out there on the front lines and knock some heads yourself!
This is level 11. Out of these 11 levels, Cube got at least one of Barbarian for +10 movement speed, and at least 9 of Monk for another +30. That’s +40 speed already. With the Run feat, that means he can cross 275 feet per round; which is about 50 km/h. Not too shabby, since the rules as written say 22 km/h for a running human (30 base speed, x4 for running is 120 feet per round).
Of course there are completely broken builds out there that allow to break the sound barrier, and even one that allegedly could break the light barrier before one particular abuse was closed off by errata.
I suspect the Captain is staying just ahead of Cube and Dorilys on purpose. She wants to draw out this chase and keep a couple key defenders busy while her crew does their nefarious things.
Now that Dorilys has stopped running, she may realize that something needs to fall through the spokes. The guard’s spear or the sage’s staff would have worked.
Wait, so the derros infiltrate through the CELLAR, then the Soft Tail rides DOWN some stairs to end up ON THE WALL.
Am I the only one getting the feeling the Python had been applied to the Castle layout sometime in the past?
Apparently they keep the cellar in the top of the tower… you know, so enemies (usually) can’t find it! Plus that location makes it soooooo much more difficult to tunnel in… you know, if you aren’t derro with magic magma golems and the like.
Either that or last week’s illness had some rather disturbing after-affects on our dear author/artist!

Cube is still keeping up even though he obviously skips both leg day and cardio.
Cube doesn’t have a lot of body parts, but he thoroughly exercises all of the ones he has!

Wow, Cube can wobble pretty fast. Or maybe it’s a slide.
Give they are keeping up with someone on a motorcycle, they’re both doing pretty good. But Cube better since he can keep on doing it.

Possible but only if she lied to Grawlf. She told him she would do the job, and the other guys came to use the chance to do derro jobs
Most likely her job is to be done at the outside walls (maybe WITH Cube and Dorilys)
Then it’s remarkably convenient that she bumped into them and they choose to chase her and send Presti into the cellar.

I think the wheels, though marked, are actually solid. Clearer on the earlier pages.
At least she only had to chase Soft Tail down the stairs. Can you imagine if she had to run after a steambike up the stairs?

She climbed the stairs to where she met our merry crew.
I think they put that cellar there for security reasons. This way it’s hard to get from the outside to the cellar or vice versa.
What sort of bike is she ridin’? Is this Soft Tail, working for grinning jokers, a Harley Queen?
