Or — it’s magic.
Obviously, the tavern is bigger – and higher – on the inside.
Maybe they climbed a staircase between the end of the last strip and the beginning of this one.
The way fish reproduce, whether or not they are straight or huge dykes really doesn’t matter much.
Isn’t it supposed to be one if by land and two if by sea?

I’m impressed by how menacing you’ve made the Gloria Mundi despite the inherent absurdity of a rail-landship.
It’s more absurd than that: This is below a tavern on a pier. So, technically it’s underwater.
So someone built an underwater tunnel – or at least walled off and drained a section of the harbor – and *then* put a ship in it. On a railway.
With such a level of absurdity, the Capitan Plaidbeard must arrive in this adventure…
