    Blood stains rapidly turn brown. If you want bright, fresh blood red, go for the dyes.

      A real bloodthursty villain would just have his best outfit enchanted, so that the blood never dries…

        Then it drips and drains away like that. And water will wash it away. No, there’s much to be said for dye.

          Again, magic. You can get bottles that are never empty and armor that’s never dirty. Permanent bloodstains shouldn’t be that hard.

      A mythical monster called the Redcap, had to keep killing in order to dye it’s cap red. Every time it began to dry the Redcap looked for a new victim. Per the myth, as long as it’s cap was red, it had the combined strength of everyone it had ever killed.

    He’s an orc? I took him for some kind of undead monstrosity (slightly above Zombie and slightly below Frankenstein’s Creature…yes I know flesh golems are technically not undead, but conceptually they’re the same sort of thing). Aside from the tusks he doesn’t really look that orcish to me.
