Mimic, we recall has no eyes. He seems to function quite well in most environments. So put his finger… er handles?… on the Rube-Goldberg event that just transpired.
I amend my earlier statement, that Dorilys had god-level powers in engineering circumstance. I think Boxford is the undercover deity of circumstance, and perhaps Dorilys follows him unknowingly.
Heh… sonehow Mimic wanted Dorily to stand with her fist up when light’s came about showing the carnage having taken place during the fall of darkness, perhaps for HER to be credited with the nightly massacre in the barrom? :p
I’m certain of it too. I doubt anyone else in that barroom would have their arm raised, and Mimic needed to distinguish bodies from each other. Even with nightvision, Mal’s been heavily poisoned and probably wouldn’t put up that much of a fight, so Mimic used his blindsight to take out everyone who wasn’t Dorilys, just to be safe.
Plus, we all know Mimic can’t be shown to be competent on screen. That’s Cube’s job.
Am I **crazy** or did the final panel used to have the snobby elf captain used to be the beaten-up bystander all the way on the left and now she’s replaced by the sorceress whom she’d sneezed wine all over in Dorilys’ first chain-of-chaos? If I’m right, I wonder too if it’s because Dorilys is careful to protect the baseball players from harm or if it’s just to save the elf for the smash scene with Roxanne?

Indeed. She has been just out-Rube-Goldberg-machined by someone who has no eyes. In the dark.
Having no eyes is not disadvantageous in the dark.
He’s got one eye from taking that single level in beholder. He’s just kept it closed ever since.
Didn’t he retrain that?
Rusty can’t retrain. He explains this in the same page his eye shows up.
He couldn’t retrain until he left the dungeon iirc?
She looks rather horrified at what happened. Maybe since she broke some vow of no harm.
Not half so horrified as Stabs.
It’s her bar. She’s liable for the injuries.
Not to mention the considerable damage to the bar itself. It looks like a major roof support has been broken!
Derek’s the guy with no harm.
I think she’s surprised that Mimic could hook in to her “unfortunate accident” ability.
(It’s fun seeing what he does with the Tuckerization.)
She is just horrified at the scope of medical bills.
Don’t worry Malevolus. You can share the cell with Dr. Light. I’m sure you have a lot in common.
Wow, I hope not. That’s not a direction I want to watch this comic turn.
I am mightily amused to see the ‘sloppy shampoo’ which the ‘snobby’ elf is about to receive!
Well-played, Good Sir!
I’m trying to figure out what chain of events raising her left hand set in motion to give this result.
Beeeeeeee-ooooooooohhhhh!
Chaos theory meets Murphy’s Law.

Yes, but has he done anything like this before?
No, he hasn’t.
Also, Mike R, on Twitter, describes this comic as “synergy.”
Wow… never have I wanted to be able to see in the dark so much!!!

Dorilys has the power – and the control to go with it. Boxford managed to use her power incautiously.
If you raise your fist, it will find someone to hit. Particularly in a tavern brawl.
I notice that Stabs has picked up a certain wand from somewhere… π
…oh my gods…
…they even broke THE PLUMBING! The repair costs *whimper*
Heh… sonehow Mimic wanted Dorily to stand with her fist up when light’s came about showing the carnage having taken place during the fall of darkness, perhaps for HER to be credited with the nightly massacre in the barrom? :p
Mimic took some levels in “idiot savant” apparently. π
That’s quite a sinistral hand she’s got there. Or should I say… sinister?
I still don’t know what happened, but asking her to raise her arm had to do with blind sense
I’m certain of it too. I doubt anyone else in that barroom would have their arm raised, and Mimic needed to distinguish bodies from each other. A little late, but this is the kind of barfight you expect to see come out of the Floating Vagabond. Good show.

Do they sell those dispell magic wands from vending machines?
Blindsight and Tremorsense are very useful abilities.
