Possible answers:
A ripening Blueberry
Bruce Banner who was trying NOT to turn into the Hulk.
Somebody with food poisoning who is going to miss going to that restaurant.
The wall of a paint testing facility.
Woad.
I don’t associate “swollen” with muscles, at least not unless they’re the kind of hypertrophic muscles that most men get if they bodybuild a little, and a few women get if they bodybuild a lot. Which it seems unlikely Princess would. So I would assume she is indeed preggers, though I agree with the sentiment of “but HOW?”.
Also, I love Voidbane’s answer to the riddle. Many other answers could be correct, but I can think of nothing that might be more poetic. Which is ultimately more important in this genre.
I don’t know, but whatever it is, it’s in the Tupperware container at the back of the fridge and has been there since time immemorial. Green today, blue tomorrow, declaring sovereignty on Friday.
This is the first new one that’s come out since I read everything to date! I’m super psyched to start following it weekly. It’s gonna be the highlight of my Wednesday! 😀
The shrug that Presti gives in the last panel makes me think she doesn’t know the answer to her ‘riddle’ either–but I am enjoying the speculation!
Why is it that “a bit late” always means “expect it one week after it would normally be released”? is noon on Wednesday the only time in the week were you have a schedule gap? Why do you say “a bit late” why not say “a week late”? I love this comic but I can’t understand the update rules at all.

It wasn’t specified that it had to be a legit riddle, just un-answerable.
Envy.
But he also didn’t say his answer had to be correct…
He’s not clever enough to think of that.
I wish there was a plus or like button for this.
A Reine-Claude plum (greengage) about to get ripe. Come on, it was easy.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greengage
(only works with some varieties of said plums, to be honest)
I like Slobber’s new carrier path. He found his niche, I think.
Or a blueberry.
Nah, m’son – blueberries t’aint be blue – dey’re purple…’cept when dey’s green – den dey’re white. 😉

I used to imagine Slobber Stankbreath sounding like the Incredible Hulk, but now I imagine him sounding more like Dug the dog from “Up.”
A leprechaun holding his breath for an entire day
An orc after a bar fight with an ogre.
Though admittedly, he’ll probably be a few other colors, too.
A sad frog.

Woad.
Given the choice, I’d go for woad.
Anything when I’ve got paint.
“Woad” is my favorite.
At least it’s better than “What have I got in my pockets?”
That WAS rather unfair to poor Smeagol, yes. But it all ended with him saving the world . . .
“A smurf dipped in non-permanent green paint.”
But to be fair I suspect than “how much is two plus two?” is a riddle he can’t answer.
Grue, from Nelson Goodman’s Fact Fiction and Forecast! Or an emerire, if you like.
A bluebell bud about to open?
Her Swolness?
But her boyfriend is……
How did she………..
Then would it get half-undead as a template?
How would that work with positive and negative energy?
Muscular, not gravid.

“Swole”, not “swollen”. “Swole” is slang for “muscular”.

Answer: An unripe blueberry.
Does anybody else smell squid?
Answer: A Smurf’s Egg.
Smurf’s Eggs are green, but once they hatch, the smurfs are BLUE.
Also… Yautja’s (Predator) Blood
So, how is a raven like a writing desk?
Edgar Allan Poe wrote on both.
Or
One s a rest for pens, the other is a pest for wrens.
There are people who get annoyed if you spill ink all over either of them.

Last late update was posted had it go up on a saturday IIRC.
Someone who vomited right when they were going to propose.
Note to self: Slobber did find the answer: http://rustyandco.com/comic/level-8-190/
I totally missed that. Thanks for pointing it out!
Is it me or does it not seem our dear Slobber got his instructions muddled (or, “puddled,” p’raps)?
