“Eat sunset?”
I mean, they can’t quite reach it, but just LOOK at all that gold. A monster’s gotta dream…
I truly can’t say which Panel is most “D’AWWW!!!”-worthy:
#3’s blank stare of unfocussed enthusiasm on the sports-card
#4’s unexplained usage of blue dye, & the dire consequences that are promised by Dorylis’ glare
#5’s sunset idyll — ‘Nuff Said!
D’OH!!!?!
I Botched the Numbers!!!
Please replace “3-4-5” with “4-5-6”, thank-you-in-advance.

I’m -really- curious to know what Presti actually asked slobber to do…
[Cygwulf]:
I think Slobber’s kind of a computer program, in that you must be EXCEEDINGLY_CAREFUL with your choice of words to him, or else you suffer a serious communications-breakdown.
“Help me paint the stadium”
Adding “…with these paintrollers” would have probably more effective at getting the point across.
What’s green today that’s blue tomorrow?
How true!
That means you can’t get into the bar with that riddle again.
Haha! This comic always surprises me.
Brilliant! I think we have an award for the best comment on this trip.
I don’t think we’ve ever gotten the explanation for Dorilys being green (Mary, her creator, implied that she told Mike and left it up to him whether to keep it canon). But I always assumed it was a variant on the one result from 5E’s Wild Magic table that turns the caster blue permanently, and if so this would make a nice easter egg to nod to that idea without explicitly doing the same thing.

She obviously forgot to say “don’t blew it”.
I_Have_So_Many_Questions:
Dear “I.C.M.”:
1)__How long will the Princess’ “buffs” last?
2)__What’s happened to “Anti-Madeline”?
3)__Who’s got the “Magic 8-Ball”, & what do they plan to DO with it?
4)__Will we get any further trouble from that dimensional portal, or will it get closed-up soon?
5)__Will the Princess use her “special” relationship with the “DM” to have an adventure-or-2 right now, or will all her “buffs” be wasted, & run-out?
6)__How many of these questions will turn-out to be “overlapping” each other, & which ones?
I am so here for the rust monster romance.
Ditto
Hah! I wonder whether Stabs’ car was a fulfilment of Derik’s prophecy, or whether Stabs got the car in order to fulfil the prophecy.
As a humble follower of Daoist (or Taoist if you prefer) philosophy, I find the answer to be “Yes (how could it be otherwise?).”
The latter. Derek’s “prophecy” was a “shut up and leave me alone” thing with monopoly tokens, not an actual prediction.
It was INTENDED to be such. But that’s the thing about prophecies — the prophet can be as blindsided as anyone.
That baseball card gave me the biggest laugh I’ve had in quite a while. Thank you.
Yeah, that’s pretty good.
I have a sneaking suspicion the Viscount and Malevolus are connected to the Princess’ disappearance. I wonder…could this be a sign we’re about to get Axes and Allies 2.0? Perhaps now with more Axes and more Allies?
Dorilys has the blues.
This is the game that never ends… it just goes on and on my friends… Some people started playing it and….
Wait, what did you say? It’s over?
Ladies and Gentlemen, the most interesting halfling in the world.
The god worm is gonna sleep off it’s injuries for a few thousand years, like Cthulhu.
D’aww. They’re sharing the trophy.
So how long before we hear the rustling of little rustlings?
