“The called shot heard round the world” is starting to strike me as calling who’s getting sunk into that prison cell next. Wildest accurate guess wins!
Wildest eh? Okay how about Plaidbeard? ^_~
Seriously though, our three so far are all involved with the game and female so . . . the green skinned game official? (I forget her name.)
Stabs’ should just call a genie; look at how many bars she has!
Barring the jail cell, I think that that went all right.
At least they aren’t locked in with the blackguard; if they were, they might become part of an undeath metal band.
Ah, Princess; our damsel making bullywugs distressed,
I’m loving Roxy’s character development! She’s learning to share! (…her cell with others)
Derik should worry about his job as Madie’s therapist. Princess has just proven herself as being great at breaking down walls, and she also helped out any bullywugs that had insomnia!
Prophecy-wise, putting stabs in jail is probably one of the dumbest moves these guys could make. And that’s before you count the part where they put a rogue in a regular jail cell.
“An Evil beneath the stade, a Dugan shall Free,” says the prophecy. Stabs now being in position, odds are it’s her and not her cousins being referred to. But what “evil”? Malevolous? Rue Lilly? I think the Viscount and his shadow succubus are going to put in an appearance as said evil, where Stabs is rewarded with wealth by the (Battleship of Authority) Princess for unmasking the conspirators. I suspect that Maddie overcomes her Resurrection Sickness by smiting one or both of them. Petey will hit the Called Shot simultaneously or immediately thereafter- probably in a way that overcomes the Eldritch Horror the Vampire Hipsters summoned (and that Kris saw via artifact).
Just a theory:
What if the “evil” in this case was Stabitha, & one-or-both of her kin are revealed as the actual “Dugan” who frees her..
… wouldn’t that fulfill the wording of the Prophecy … ?
Ah, Bars of Plot Convenience, which are wide enough that one of the confined characters should be able to walk out if they turn sideways so you can see their anguished faces.
I’d imagine it’s a side effect of whatever anesthetic they used.
“Darling, wake up. Your baby’s just been born! What do you think we should name her?”
“unnnnhhkksssSTAB! uh…itha.”

I hear someone from the Monty Python troop saying, “It’s a fair cop.”
“But society is to blame.” 🙂
I wonder, did it all come down to getting caught, or getting stopped? Such as the difference is…

I fear the “Shot heard round the world ” is beginning to foreshadow a firing squad.

Don’t worry, Dirk! It seems bad now, but Dorilys will carry you through.
How many more can we get in there before the end of the games?
Stabs and Roxy are present – I wonder how likely it is that Presti and Madeline will find their way in? Probably not the Princess, though.
You realize that just by saying that, you’ve raised the odds of it happening by like 40% at least.
Don’t expect to see the Princess in that jail cell, since she’s above the law, being the Princess and all that.
Presti? I’d say the chances are high she’s next. Her bodyguard work so far has not appeared impressive. The Princess has punished people for less.
But Madeline?! Who’d be mean enough to throw Maddy in jail? ….oh, right. The Princess.
But what happens if she gets overthrown by Malevolus? Or his — friend?
I think that princess would go to jail, just to stop and have a smoke with Stabs, Maddeline, and the green elf.
Prophecy-wise, putting stabs in jail is probably one of the dumbest moves these guys could make. And that’s before you count the part where they put a rogue in a regular jail cell.
Roxy and Jackass Elf are probably both happier now that they have a cellmate besides each other.
I dunno, Jackass Elf looks rather depressed actually.
Are we still on Namek?

Maddie’s resurrection amnesia obviously is a plant for the next arc.

That makes sense: (evil) Stabs (beneath) the stadium freed by a (nother) Doogan.
It’s equally possible now that an evil will free a Doogan.
There was a shadow succubus? When did this happen?
Ooh I think a spot on the team has opened up for Maddie 😀
When in doubt, always put the hobbit in jail. But the other are only guilty of riling up the princess, they should be out tomorrow morning.
Ah, Bars of Plot Convenience, which are wide enough that one of the confined characters should be able to walk out if they turn sideways so you can see their anguished faces.
This may be perspective thing. They are so far, that they seem small. But in reality they are fat and smelly.
can we just stop for a moment and consider what kind of parents name their daughter Stabitha?
I’d imagine it’s a side effect of whatever anesthetic they used.
