Not just a pretty… er. Not just a buff chick? I feel like she could have acquired her crown by clawing her way across the battlefield and shouting “King me!” before going back out to finish the war.

Maybe it’s the opposite effect: Being DM’s girlfriend makes him his favorite target for everthing, using her as the focus of attacks and plans and even plot line in the game advetnures. would it not be strange, for example, to see a normal monk become a “lost princess” and become a hostage to the situation.
I’ve seen some DMs playing against the players, and it would not be strange to have a girlfriend against DM trying to see who survives the most time in a RP survival game. She could have been an original female monk character with a party with her friends, but as DM he manipulates the events in the narrating world, out of nowhere he took off the hat that she would be a lost, unknown princess from some realm in the flow of events, and the player is now trying to survive and beat the DM in her own game.

Gaaah! Divination. I meant to write divination. damn you, lack of spell checker. Damn you, lack of edit button. Umm… also, damn you modern day reliance on spell checkers.
Spells to protect the walls from the Kool-Aid Man effect, or up the DC on lock picking? Alarm on the entrances? Grease the outer walls to prevent climbing? Anti-magic fields? Trap spells, like Web or Hold Person, that are set off during a break-in?

Huh. How about that.
She is capable of planning ahead!

I’m saying she’s had a checkered history.
Really? I’d have thought it’d be more hex map than checkered.
Well… this is not planning ahead. This is just basic logic.
Madeline looks so cute in panel three … yet also, so pitiful. π Poor woman.
Just up and ended by the upending
Well the man she has unpaladinish thoughts about was on top of her suddenly.
Not to mention the Princess accusing them of hanky-panky.
ARRGH I missed a chance to mention the impending upending…
Viva la Principezza!
Huh. Derek cracks a pun, but no one cracks a grin.
Love Rusty’s expression, though!
Thanks, Mike!
Not a pun. He’s thinking back to the divination he already did.
Yep… strip #88, “a princess contests with wild, fun guys”. I’d forgotten that one until now…
Ha! Princess can sure flik a bic, and the smoke effects are impressive! Oh, and you never know where hobbits will pop up… π

She can be tough, good at fighting, tomboy and whatever else she has. But I must admit, she earned my respect for knowing how to plan and think ahead.
and no more than two days without anyone trying to kill her? Experience is everything.
Sub-classing into DM’s Girlfriend probably gave her some minor divination (vague hints about the upcoming session.)
*Plot Twist*

Also, put out some more hobbit traps. Bait them with double bacon burgers!
Grammer error in panel four: fungi is already plural, so there shouldn’t be an s at the end ;p
Quite obviously, he’s addressing the Mushroom Men, and that justified the “s”.
But I’m sure you know that. π
Spelling error: “grammer” = > grammar
D’oh!
Not a grammar error – he’s simply realised, somewhat belatedly, what his cryptic divination from strip #88 refers to.

Heh! And from the looks of it, he’s as exasperated at the pun as the rest of us. Is he being trolled by his own devination?
Gaaah! Divination. I meant to write divination. damn you, lack of spell checker. Damn you, lack of edit button. Umm… also, damn you modern day reliance on spell checkers.
Now, what IS a standard buff for a bedroom? Surely not an abbreviatet credenza?
You have to time the spells so they overlap each other.
In other words, you buff the buff princess who’s in the buff using a buffer.
Spells to protect the walls from the Kool-Aid Man effect, or up the DC on lock picking? Alarm on the entrances? Grease the outer walls to prevent climbing? Anti-magic fields? Trap spells, like Web or Hold Person, that are set off during a break-in?
I’d also include the blocking of any “Portal”-type of entry method.
So long as they remember to omit a “protection against undead” on the bedroom. >_<
