Bit of back of the envelope math here: assuming each halfling weighs about 35 lb, and Stabs is carrying roughly 20 lb in daggers, that’s 135 lb that Derrick is holding up while standing on one foot, and he’s holding each arm roughly straight. That’s quite a strength score for a temple cleric. Makes you wonder how and why…

Stabs’ 1950s baking product mascot smile in the last panel is a bit terrifying. I don’t know why.
We need a totally vertical version of just her head with a 50’s style slogan as an avatar.

Absolutely perfect. Nothing can exceed that now. You have made my week.
I’m more scared of a ghost busters sized stabs walking through town!
Great minds think alike. We think alike. Therefor, we must both have great minds…. π
great minds think alike, but fools seldom differ.
It seems really unnatural seeing stabs smile like that.
Which, oh, which Doogan will pocket the 8-ball?

How and why? That’s due to use of the most powerful force in known existence, the Rule of Funny.
You are also assuming that he is not in the process of falling down due to the unexpected weight.
You know what?
Everytime you draw Maddie, she’s cuter!
And Maddie was really cute to begin with.
I do like her better in her armor, though.
What if Dorilys realized you were flirting with Ms. Bai earlier? Do you think she’d have dinner with you then?
Lesson learned, oh yeah.
As long as the lesson is “Don’t mention to halflings that you know how to use the magic infodump device”.
Diversion tactic. Look at those subtle motions in panel five.
I thought that was just Stabs putting her knives away…
I see the three Doogans, but Rusty seems to be mysteriously absent.
Eat Maguffin?
If clerics see into the future that well, how come we don’t see many super rich clerics with huge mansions?
Because clerics build temples (fighters build fortresses, wizards build towers, etc) and we DO see a fair number of those. π
Got just lost > just got lost…?
Grammatically, both are correct, depending on what you want to emphasize.
Ha, yes:
Just lost
Got lost
Just got
Got, just
Got ‘just’ lost
Just got lost
Got lost, just
Just lost / got
Lost: just got!
Lost (got), just
Or when you have recently bought a copy of a finished tv show:
just got Lost.
So much for hobbits resenting humans viewing them as children.
Just because they resent it doesn’t mean they won’t mercilessly exploit it if they feel it will serve their needs.
When the hobbits get nice, check your pockets.
When the gnomes seem happy, check your logic.
When the Dwarfs seem happy, wash your shoes…
