This would be a nice page to have in one’s legal office. It’s self-contained, clever, has an awesome lawyer obviously based on an awesome lawyer, and it only says good things when your clients are happy enough with your work to draw a reference of you into their webcomic!

Is that a gold golem?
I prefer to think of it as the Rustyworld equivalent of an Inevitable. Y’know, those extraplanar constructs devoted to the service of pure LAW?
I think more of a Waeforged with super high Bard Levels and Charisma.
Conan O’Brien? Is that you?
Thief, warrior, gladiator, attorney-at-law?
Violence is like violence, if it doesn’t solve all your problems, you’re not using enough of it
Or applying it incorrectly!
Vaarsuvius would approve … https://i.imgflip.com/qeufd.jpg
Seconded!
Ah, Mr. Augustus.
Aurelius Augustus.
Undoubtedly.
(6-51 guys)
Here’s the link, for those who don’t know. Make sure to read the newspost below the comic itself.

That royal seal cracks me up. Although technically, shouldn’t it have the king or queen’s profile on it rather than the princess’s?
I forget… is this a principality? If so then the princess could be the actual head of state and not just the next in line for the position?
Otherwise “Rule of Funny”: they put the one everyone fears on the seal. XD
If her parents gave her a county as a vassal, Princess would still be the law in those lands besides not being the ruler of the kingdom.
Maybe that is the queen, and the princess just looks like her mother…
Here’s a thought: that isn’t the seal of the REALM, it’s the seal of “JUSTICE” (a.k.a. ENFORCEMENT).
Eat Lawyer?
YES!!! LOL
Gold doesn’t rust.Sorry Rusty.
Rust Monsters can eat any metal, not just ferrous ones. Eat Lawyer is still an option.
In fact, Rusty has expressed a desire to eat gold on two occasions. (The statue, and the gold flowers.)
Is he a warforged lawyer? A lawforged?
He may not have the frown, but he does have the jawline.
I think this comic proves that if you can’t solve a problem with violence, you need to use more violence.
Also, wasn’t the name of the lawyer who helped the artist out with his lawsuit named Gold? I figure this is a tribute to him of sorts.
Augustus Golden, I believe. ^_^
Awesome.
Remember, violence isn’t the answer, its the question.
The answer is yes.
Looks like I’ve got a new facebook profile picture! Thanks, Mike!
As a big fan of Mike’s work, thank you Mr. Golden for making sure that all of his readers can keep enjoying it.
I believe this is a case of “Let the punishment fit the crime”.
Finally, it’s the lawyer’s time to shine. He’s so precious!
*groan*
He’s definitely worth his weight in gold.
Especially with his glittering personality
Heh, you said it. That guy’s a real treasure.
The prosecution’s statement was pretty leaden—totally deadpanning it. I’m not surprised Golden Gus was able to construct a winning case.
Shoot, I totally forgot the “metal/mettle/medal” line of puns. I guess I’m not as great a word”smith” as I fig”ore”d.
…
Yeah. Definitely not.
Golden Gus? Is that a Rooster Teeth/On the Spot reference?
Augustus Golden defended Mike in a copyright dispute.
Looks a golem got inspired by Moist Von Lipwig.
I literally have no idea what just happened.
That just was just
Gold.

Yeah, putting that quote here was my doing.
