By what measure? It’s made from petrol-derived polymers. Petroleum may have been organic material at one distant point in its history but, by that definition, so is chalk.
So having survived their last encounter, Grinner’s gotten enough gnolledge to be really dangerous. I hope miss whipsnake is grateful enough to hit him over the head with a python (or another pizza surprise).
Cube would’ve devoured him if not for the nylon gloves. Therefore, cube has a weakness for nylons. Having a weakness for nylons would, in a different context, also mean you really like nylons as a clothing piece. I also believe that having a weakness for something might be a DnD term of some sort, but I’m not sure.
Nylon and other synthethic fibers are very resistant to biological degradation by organic acids and bases. So Cleavehand is now trying to pull a ff9 trick on cube.
Nylons is a slang term for things like stockings and pantyhose. It was used in the fifties, due to nylon being used for hosiery since silk was being used for parachutes in WWII.
(I am really hoping that I don’t have to explain the rest of that reference. It could get awkward.)
Player: That’s not fair! That can’t exist here! I cast a spell of perfect fairness from Dungeon Master!
DM: you use your right arm as a material component….
Player: WAIT! I use my NPC’s arm!
DM: Your NPC now receives perfect fairness….
Cube’s angry face scares me. I can literally feel the rage flowing off him from my computer screen. Very scary and Grinner better be careful or this time he’s dead.
This doesn’t feel right, if you ask me. Just because Cube can’t dissolve synthetics in this world, why would that stop him from enveloping Grinner? He really should be a skeleton wearing a pair of insoluble gloves.

Well, I certainly hope no one was hurt.
So that’s what gelatinous cubes can’t eat.
yeeeah, finaly something against those g-damn oozes, i think from now on all my heros will try to find a synthetic shop as soon as possible xD
Not by the rules it isn’t. Nylon is not “inorganic”.

I’m guessing maddie will drop the tent on the both of them. Ah well, at least Rusty’s got something to eat where he’s going.
Don’t forget Mimic. Or Anti-M, at that.
Well, neither of them are flying through the air, are they? Now I think about it though, I guess the tent is also a synthetic fabric; a trap for cube.

That was a cheap move.
Grinner. Called it. Hope Rusty’s ok, the lovable little roach.
Given that he was hired by the calamafia, I wonder how Presti is getting on right now…
That…rotten….Ooooh! I want him turned into gnollentini so bad!!!
Oh no! The treasure! D:
I’ve fought some ooze,
from green to pink;
one thing’s for certain–
gloves stink!
(Gloves stink)
Gloves stink yeah yeah
(Gloves stink)
Glove stink yeah yeah
I’m enjoying Grinner’s facial expressions on this page.
Anyway, I don’t get the reference in the pop-up text. What’s all this about nylon and why should I have a weakness for it?

I notice the patchwork skin the gnoll has……….
So was made into an undead or a construct rather than resurrected?
looks like. Amazing. Getting torn into pieces is worse for resurrection than being eaten by Cube.

Wow. Talk about a Diabolus Ex Machina.
Cube’s angry face scares me. I can literally feel the rage flowing off him from my computer screen. Very scary and Grinner better be careful or this time he’s dead.
Wow, that was a MIGHTY Boosh!
