Honestly, my headcanon, until the author oughtright states otherwise, is that the shovel is an ordinary spade, the universe just doesn’t have the heart(or is afraid)to correct Madelyn
I believe that it’s just the power of her smite, her smite itself is what makes weapons vorpal.
It’s certainly a more durable spade than most.
At first I wondered why the vampire could suddenly see Yuan-Tiffany…

I just had a thought, with the name, pin and ponytail, is Yuan-Tiffany taking some traits from Tiffany Et from http://www.precociouscomic.com?

Probably more like Westerns are what Clint Eastwood was known for.
You can’t get much farther west than San Francisco. The next Western shout-out might include a “Book ’em, Danno” reference.
Also, any movie that Clint Eastwood is in is automatically a Western due to his powerful Aura of Westernity. “GET OFF MY LAWN” = Western.
Question: how many of you think that Y.T. actually destroyed the Python?

Well, I doubt she’d reverse Gordie with him being at the doorstep. I personally wonder if she reversed her own condition.
That pesky empathy might make it hard for her to do so, since she knows what she’d be like without it.

Heh, Ezra. It seems like she’ll be the lone recurring villain from this level.
Y.T. probably didn’t destroy the artifact; if it wasn’t shown, then it probably didn’t happen. So. She’s probably just trying to trick Ezra to stop the latter from stealing it again. ‘Course, if she still has it with her, I’m wondering if she’s planning on fixing everything that the vampires messed up? But if she did that, Ezra might find out that the Python is still in-tact.
Remember the dwarf whose axe they were seeking up in their first quest?
Cube ate him. Twice, IIRC. He came back. This is not a comic where resurrection is expensive.
Eh, maybe. She honestly isn’t all that menacing really, the only thing that made her anything of a threat was the invulnerability.
That “bad case of empathy” she came down with?
I’m guessing she didn’t reverse it. Now that she can empathize, she doesn’t like to do arbitrarily nasty things to people…such as unleashing the old Devious Sidewinder Tiffany on them. We’ll find out the first time our protagonists turn their back on her, I suppose. (In Cube’s case, figuring out which side is his back is left as an exercise for the reader.)
On an unrelated note: Vampster Girl just ate a slice of pizza with her brother’s face melted into it? Ew.

… I vote that Y.T. Joins the party on a semi permanent basis… Cube gets shit done, rusty… Well, rusts, Mimic’s brains and Y.T.’s hands… They’ll be prestige class before we’ll know it.

What would happen if Y.T. sticks the “hide from undead” pin on Ezra? Would Ezra has a existential crisis, akin to putting a blanket over a boogeyman’s head?
I call Y.T.’s bluff. On destroying the Python that is. She wouldn’t have destroyed it because she’s probably savvy enough to know that it is entirely possible for Koenig to have used the Python on itself to make it no longer its nature to not destroy the universe when it is destroyed. As for why Koenig would have done it… he probably would have thought it as being done ironically.
What I’m wondering is where Anti got to. Maybe she’s trying to pickpocket the gordon. Don’t ask me how she’d carry the money. That’s what python is for. import antigravity
There had been something about this comic that bugged me, and I just figured out what it was. Yuan-Tiffany is using “y’all” in the same way most people use the word “you” – to refer to the singular person she’s talking to. But “y’all” is used only when you’re talking to several people. It’s an informal contraction of “you all”, after all. So as a Southerner (well, more of a transplanted Yankee), it has bothered me that she’s using it wrong.
Since Erza is trying to kill them, I would believe that Mimic and Maddie should have an intrest in her weaknesses as well.
I live in the South myself, and I hear people use “y’all” as singular. The plural, in such cases, is “All y’all.”
