She might have picked non-edged weapons, but the arsenal behind her (and which she was chucking around) certainly contains plenty of swords and axes. I suspect she just likes hitting things with large blunt instruments…
The way panel 5 dialogue is set up, I now hear their voices as Isair and Madae from Icewind Dale 2. Which is funny because she’s pretty small to have a strong voice like that.

I’m wondering what is on that fifth channel.
I do believe it’s our Gnoll friend from the end of the last chapter.
you called it right…
It’s worse than I feared. Judging by the size of those melee weapons, these are MANGA hipster vampires.
Well vampires do have superior physical strength, so they should be able to handle bigger and thus more intimidating weapons.
Still metalic, though.
Interesting, non edged weapons. That used to be a cleric trait. Undead clerics would be kind of unusual.

Why are undead any less likely to be clerics than any other class?
Ok, someone has to say it…”Look out! She’s brought NPC Hammer!”
Aww, poor Madeline looks so sad in the third panel.
Wait, wouldn’t the boomerang be less cliche then the hammer?
It’s okay, she’s gonna use it ironically. 😛
I’m still wondering how it’s possible to throw away the boomerang.
I believe boomerangs don’t return on any throw, so might’ve been thrown wrong on purpose
