Shouldn’t her whole tail be wrapped up and not just parts of it??? I mean, that does seem to be over half her body mass. And does she have any magic belts being hidden by those wrappings around her tails like dragons can do???
How many monsters have they not killed in this chapter? At this rate they’ll either sit down with the final boss and have tea with it or it will be a human, the ultimate evil.
Technically speaking a coat wouldn’t do anything for a cold blooded creature. Then again a Yuan-ti is a human glued to a snake so I guess science doesn’t really figure into anything really.
Still, I shouldn’t complain since that last panel is cute. 🙂
But wouldn’t clothes, like, prevent you from getting any colder? So even if she doesn’t generate heat, she won’t at least lose it with those clothes covering her body.
Well, the caption does say there are heated scarves in there. The heat generated by these scarves would be retained, much like a warm-blooded creature’s body heat, so even if it doesn’t directly help her, it makes the heated scarves more useful.
In panel 3 Yaun-Tiffany is wearing a hat with a MHI logo patch on it. That would be Monster Hunters International by Larry Correia. http://larrycorreia.wordpress.com/buy-stuff/
It should also be noted that when this comic was originally written, she was a yuan-ti. But due to a copyright issue, all references to the yuan-ti had to be changed to lamias. (There’s more information about this in the last question on the FAQ page.)

Good sensible winter attire there!
though come to think of it — is she a monster acting oddly?
It’s funny because being cold-blooded implies she doesn’t create her own body heat, so no amount of bundling would help her stay warm.
Cold-blooded animals can generate heat — through motion and the like. Also if she basks by a fire or something, this will let her keep that warmth.
read the alt text : there are heat source in her clothes as well
They live in a world where enchanted garments of Cold Resistance are a thing.
Not a new ‘do but a new toque! Take off, eh?
Much as I admire the Great White North, I was actually reminded of ‘South Park’ myself.

As long as there’s blood flowing there’ll be no freezing any time soon. I doubt it’s THAT cold.
No, they are just tail cozies. Though they COULD be magic tail cozies.

Speaking of nosey questions, shouldn’t they Yuan-Ti not have a nose?
Like the button though 😀
On the topic of important questions: When do we think “Trolley tossing” will be added to Mimic’s list of super powers?
All these comments and no one (not even Mimic) has realized it’s Yuan-Tiffany again?
So, when does she get added to the cast page?
People commented on that last week, to be sure.
Lies, that never happened. And I totally didn’t miss those comments when reading through them. 😉
I am vindicated! http://rustyandco.com/comic/level-6-11/
And you all that me mad, muahaha, oh wait, I’ve gone mad.
Well… sort of vindicated, since the figure in the comic you linked to was the vampire chick, not the yuan-ti.
Gone mad, eh? Congratulations. Today is a fine day… for SCIENCE!
So is Yuan-Tina any relation to Yuan-Tiffany?
Not gonna lie… her face in that third panel is really cute.

Maybe she has a bunch of those little heating packets stuffed into the coat.

Yuan-ti in a snowsuit.
Adorable.

In universe, how does mimic know she’s a lamia and not a naga?
D&D Nagas don’t have arms, they’re snake all the way to the head.
