You just managed to accept the challenge of a man who spent his childhood obsessing over the whole nordic mythology. You may have been trying to combine it with Isengard, a place from the Tolkien land of middle earth. (coincidentally middle earth got it’s name from nordic mythology, in which the realm of man was midgard, or middle earth.)…I think I may have gone overkill. Well I hear the punk princess is looking for a man!
I very much prefer Japanese and Eastern mythology. Hence, my greatest strength is not my knowledge of weapons, but my prowess comes from Jimmy’s Secret Kung-Fu of Oblivion!
Also, I don’t do the “white wight” look well. I very much prefer insanity.
Then in keeping with her theme you could be the punk monk! And i tried learning eastern mythology, but its not my strong suit. And feel free to click the link in my name! Join my forum! I need more members to keep it running
Third panel on page 6-12. I never questioned it since it was “monsters acting strange” and a female vampire hipster with a beard was certainly bizarre. I ended up liking that interpretation.

The ever-prudent Cube knows an opening when he sees one.
Oh lord.
The apple logo on the scrying pool.
Perhaps it’s an iSpy?
Ooow! That pun hurt!
I like it.
iSee no evil!
Where’s that Droom Guy? we’re supposed to be dueling over here! *looks at the lightsaber all upset-like* And I got this from eStar too…
Next page sneak attack!!! *pulls out giant mace* For pony!!!
FOR AISENGARD! *pulls out a lightning hammer*
Are you referencing thor? If you are it’s asgard
I do believe I have been beaten *hangs head and walks slowly away*

Oh, Madeline, you’re such a head turner.
*runs over, all scruffy and beat up* she already has two men fighting over her! *runs screaming back into battle*
Darn, there go my hopes that Kraken would go on to host a childrens’ TV program. “Greetings, boys and girls! You look scrumptious!”
Damn, I wanna see that too! MAKE IT OUT ALIVE, KRAKEN
See? Totally a halberd. She even used it to make a trip attack. Sorta.
I would go with, “grapple attempt” given that she has pinned the opponent.
It’s a beautiful day in the castle moat,
a beautiful day for a hassle.
Won’t you be my, won’t you be my, won’t you be, my dinner?
The scrying pool is obviously an iPond.
Hey, it’s Pabst and Proust!
Remind me . . . what are the ideas for why Madeline keeps her eyes closed when attacking?
Her Detect Evil is better than her eyesight, so this way she can ensure she attacks only the bad stuff.
She doesn’t like the sight of violence. Even her own violence.
Limited power in her central processor, if you catch my drift: can’t remember to stop blinking until she resolves some of those attack rolls. Eh? Eh?
I’ve been questioning this myself ever since her introduction
Doesn’t matter with Blind Fighting? I dunno.
“See no evil”
I’m still kind of bummed that the female vampire hasn’t kept her beard. That would have been cool.
When did she have a beard?

I’m… pretty sure that was just an over-dark shadow, considering she doesn’t have it in the earlier _or_ later panels of the same page.
Oh ho ho ho ho! Years later and I still love this.
Madeline is fighting serenely and with grace.
Don’t let the battle push you out of the state of awareness, and there will be no limits to your power.
