And as we all know, mimics are exceptionally good at baiting traps. One might even say they’re– ah, hell, you know the punch line. Let’s not kid ourselves.
I can’t wait to see what the bait’s going to be for this trap.
Also, Mike, the art in this comic just keeps getting better and better all the time. The jump in style and quality from Level one to Level three is amazing. Keep up the great work!
Depends–how many times can one soul handle being kicked into the afterlife and then dragged back to Earth before going nuts? I mean, if we presume that Whitey was Good, it follows that his afterlife would be enjoyable…and then he gets dragged back to Earth. As a skeleton.
He goes through the whole dying thing AGAIN (Probably not fun!), ends up in Heaven, gets yanked back…
At some point, either his sanity snaps or somebody screws up the resurrection/reanimation and he ends up as a bone golem (be silenced, I meant no double entendre!) or he “loses part of his soul”.
Plus, doesn’t RAW have a line somewhere about how the dead are informed of the alignment and deity of any res attempt and have the option to say no if they wish (unlike how in the buffy tv show the title char got pulled outta heaven without her sayso)?

He’s made of wood. Not aluminum. Not tin. Wood.
Your punchline doesn’t work (assuming it was “can o’ worms.”)
I’m pretty sure it was that they are ” master baiters”
but HOW?
(Genitals aren’t common household objects…)
CLEARLY you aren’t hanging out at the right households….

Smile. Like you mean it. 😀

It creeps *everyone* out when Mimic smiles like that. I think it’s listed as a racial ability on his character sheet…
If I had to guess, Mimic’ll be the trap, and the princess’ll be the bait.
I think Cube will be the one to make it work, though…
Won’t anybody think of the Royal Sage? That poor guy.
Can’t they just try finding a necromancer to re-reanimate him?

I’m pretty sure it’s indead.
Yeah, his smile scares me too… but I love it!
