Oo. Lich-slapped. Reluctantly impressed. Whatshisname is actually more dangerous dead than alive.

All his bragging aside, what it pretty much amounts to is….

He’s wearing a helmet under there.

Can I just take a moment to say that “ZARX!” as a ‘sound-effect word’ was previously unknown to me, and it is quite apt, suitable and awe-inspiring?

That’d be a winner for Scrabble. How do we get it accepted into a recognised dictionary?

I THOUGHT it was PLAUSIBLE he was a Lich… But I ALSO thought competence and intelligence were pre-requisites to being a Lich…

Maybe we were all wrong, maybe our boy here isn’t as dumb as he pretends. Whoever called him a smart idiot a while back is probably right about him. If he did become a Lich, then GC eating him was the worst thing possible to have happened.

Well, no – take Xykon, another well known webcomic lich. Not exceptionally smart (he’s a sorcerer, afterall) nor competent, but the combination of raw power and cunning seems to suffice…

Maybe this is where that airheaded paladin shows up with her sacred gardening equipment…

I actually thought the paladin iced the spectre. He -was- undead after all. Cool comic – keep up the great work! 😀

Undead doesn’t automatically mean evil, you know.

    Oh, Mimic.
    Haven’t you heard?
No battle plan survives contact with the enemy. After all:

MAXIM 47: Don’t expect the enemy to cooperate in the creation of your dream engagement.
