If it IS an elf, I’m thinking he might be related to Aanlonar from Gods of Arr-Kelaan; the elf with a Glandular Condition. But the lack of pointed ears makes me think the Adopted idea might be more likely.
He chased the mimic back in lvl 1 cause as an adventurer it was his duty to kill a monster… Then he reappeared in the dungeon and inadvertently saved the group from a monster who iirc was enforcing the ‘law of chaos’ or somesuch.
But I’m with the Heart of Spam, especially since Laconic’s right – bad rxn roll in a tavern for Mimic when they were ‘Gathering Information’ on that axe.

Yogurt on keyboard. *That* is an elf? Adopted, right? Bet he’s great on the drums.

Actually, now that I look at it, he’s already on the Cast page as a Human Barbarian..
Why is he under “Enemies”?

…Or maybe Mimic simply freed the wrong person. Or the elf escaped.
Didn’t we see this guy way back on page 2 of the first episode? Mimic seems to get the short end of encounters with this hulk.
Half-Elf? “Brother from another mother”? 😉

Whatever this entails, it means it just got more interesting. And humorous. Onward!

Grinner, a-heh, a-heh, only said he had a prisoner. Never said it was an elf. Hey, what’s the damage for a “Robespierre SMASH” hit?
