She probably witnessed something important that that the Viscount needs to remain secret, and with enough time our heroes will manage to learn from her.
For a strategy specialist, they are seriously underestimating the tactical opportunities offered by disguising oneself as an unassuming piece of furniture.
Panel 3 and on they’re discussing the new arrivals. Whitey, Byron and Kit are warriors, which means Swirls is the sorceress. Presti is one of the 3 spellcasters mentioned in panel 2.
But I guess that means he mistook Grawlf for a warrior, which is odd for him.
Cube: [uh oh this guy is my hard counter on paper and he has the strength and wits to match even one armed, I actually have to give my 100% just to survive and if he gets his other arm I’m jelly on toast]

No, no, that seems like a completely rational assessment from a creature made of metal.
Fear might be an emotion, but a lot of time it’s just a shortcut for danger evaluation.
“Fear is just your mind telling you danger is near.”
Interesting, the viscount is still giving people the goal of destroying the castle, not doing something with something inside it.
He’s out for revenge? I wonder what Oozanka did.
Maybe he’s just in a snit because she could see everything he thought was secret inside the castle.

“A mere fraction” is underestimating Cube (and Mama). That’s a serious computational error.
Include script (conquest.exe)
Seek_vengeance = false
Seek_survival = true
If rust_monster = false then “Insignificant threat”
Personnel_reduction_goal = 30%
If rust_monster = true then “Significant threat”
Personnel_reduction_goal = 100%

For all they know, the table could be listening in on their plans right now.
Did he call Presti a sorceress? Pretty sure them’s fighting words to any wizard…
Presti’s not new. I suspect our pale and twirly friend is implicated.

He’s not a cleric. He may have classes in fighter.
I figured the other experienced warrior he mentioned was Cube since he wasn’t in the summary.
You notice that he hasn’t even mentioned Cube yet. Then, this is one to whom Cube is the lesser danger.
Cube might be one of the three “moderately experienced warriors” and former athlete.
L.0.L.
Which one is Madeline? And they seem to have overlooked Stabs altogether. Serious mistake, that, though probably intentional from her point of view.
“Three moderately experienced warriors (two are former pro athletes)”
Robespierre and Stabs were part of the Mountain Giants, and we can safely assume Madeline is the third. This means Cube is the one being overlooked.
Overlooking Cube is a mistake that most people only get to make once.
Unfortunately, this being is exactly the type who would find Cube annoying at worst.
