is not the part he should have emulated from a certain car manufacturer’s ‘self-driving car’ source code. Especially not in recursive mode with no break condition.
… break condition, hm. He does break a lot of things…
But it never ended well for the poor Coyote because, apparently, roadrunners (or one particular Roadrunner) are reality warpers. Wile E. Coyote’s plans often are severe overkill, sure, but they are sound plans for the most part.
Since Roxy has officially thrown in the towel, can she try Plan “go talk to the ghost” now? You know, the one she semi-articulated to Rue on page 21 “What does he want?”
She should have stuck with her first instinct, find out what it wants.
For what it’s worth, they are getting closer with each one. They hit their target these past couple times, they just need to find a way to make it stick.
Probably for the same reason vampires stay the way they were when they were turned. I can actually feel with the ghost here (as much as I despise him otherwise); look at, for example, Claudia in “Interview with a Vampire”. She was turned at the age of 5 under tragic circumstances and eternally resented it, and her sire, because she was trapped in a child’s body while developing the character and needs of a fully grown adult. It must have been hell for her.
Come to think of it, maybe surfer ghost hip hop boy is less enthusiastic about his nature than he seems at first glance. Ghosts are often cursed and forced into an existence they don’t want. Could be that our dream team find an angle to work here to solve multiple problems in one go.
That would explain why Roxy hasn’t spoken to the ghost. She’s still trying to figure out more about him, and so far there’s not much way to interact with him.
Also, have to stop him for a moment to even talk to him.
Maybe the next plan should take advantage of Roxy’s high charisma and try to negotiate with the ghost since he’s happy his acne is gone and in a good mood??????

back, back, forward, forward
It was gone before.
If this skin treatment works on teen vampires they’ll make millions.
Yeah. I mean, I’m now an old fart but I remember how bad my acne got as a teen, so I’m actually happy for the guy (ghost). XD

Still an eyepatch and four bananas to go.
(13-14)
Use the eyepatch to disguise yourself and offer the bananas as an exotic treat.
Less “thrown in the towel” and more “thrown the towel on”, though.
Dude, can you imagine becoming an ageless being that has to suffer from those really obnoxious pimples you got as a teenager for all eternity?

Why would a ghost have acne?

For the comedy.
Ectoplasm can clog your pores if you don’t shower often enough.

Those look more like melons.
They’re both big round green produce, close enough!
Based on the stems, I think they’re gourds.
Here is a potentially valuable commercial product. She should have a business plan, form a company, and bring in the big bucks as CEO and CRO.
But then it’s not an entertaining alternate world magnum opus.
