So it’s been clonkin around in my big empty brain a while… but I’ve been thinkin: Either Roxy is a different Elven race than Rue, or Elven ears are expressive a bit like cats and all these Elves in this city have had their ears down in a “we hate you” manner (except Dalhia, who is in “hunting mode”).
I’m pretty sure those ears ARE expressive a bit like cats – look how much Roxy’s are moving – and while the hate might not be only reason there definitely is difference in mood between Roxy and Rue.
Is Rusty smelling Rue’s jewellery? I remember he was quite hungry before they ran into Ezra, and that medallion on Rue’s collar looks like a nice snack.
I’m starting to be worried. Cube and Alyssa the secretary have been sharing the same space for four pages, now, when the big stone dropped. I don’t think she has that much constitution. (or should I be worried about Cube getting an indigestion?)
Given that most of her high-level abilities are granted by her prestige class, and that said prestige class has steep out-of-game requirements, Princess’s abilities are not easily duplicated. It’s not like you can just buy a book or visit your local fighters’ college to learn them.

The ghost is Lily’s old boyfriend. She wanted a short bad boy dalliance ( short as per lifespan of elves vs humans). He swore he’d never leave her and seems to be keeping his promise.

Why do you think they are sharing the same space? It’s not like they are visible on panel.
This is the real mystery I’m waiting for the answer to. Soon I’m going to forget there was a plot at all….
Eh, Cube’s too much of a gentleman to to eat Alyssa. I’m sure he ejected her as soon as he landed.
This is Roxie’s strength; she learns from the people around her and uses their material, but she also has her own ways of being diplomatic.
To be fair to Mimic, she was wearing a skirt…will saves aren’t his best ones. 😉
I’ve got to wonder how much of the problem was caused by these elves being arrogant jerks.
OTOH, this comic definitely shows he’s got as much of an attitude as Ezra, if not exactly the same attitude.
My bet? 110% of the problem will end up being the fault of the elves.
I think it would almost be funnier if the elves were completely innocent, just very very unlikeable victims.
