Why rats, even? Vampire weaknesses or no, she’s still a whole entire vampire and there’s pasty elves everywhere that she could eat. Does she just have a taste for rat?
Say that where Ezra can hear you and she will tell you that you’re a faker. REAL junk food is found in dumpsters. That’s where the real junk is thrown.
Dumpster diving IS cool, especially around college campuses near the end of the semester. Canned food, kitchen appliances, un-opened toiletries, clothing, school supplies, money (occasionally)…it’s amazing what students toss.
Are you kidding? Dumpster diving is HORRIBLE. The damned things either float like boats or sink like rocks, they don’t hold enough air and you can’t see ANYTHING…Wait, are we talking about the same thing?
Well that’s an interesting face to see again. Maybe it shouldn’t be surprising.
Something did occur to me when I looked back at chapter 6 though, both of the Hipster vampires have an elf’s ears. Were both of them elves before they became vampires? Means they might have some insight here if they can be made to cooperate.
Clarifying text below 6-12: “To clarify, these two are vampires, siblings, and formerly human. Vampirism has its perks, such as trendy pointy ears. Sorry for any confusion.”
Good twists have previous justification.
Stealing artifacts: Kris Doogan, Anti-Madeline (twice), Tarta, The Viscount, Myrmarch Antropas
Summoning eldritch abominations: The Viscount organized one, and is clearly planning to do more.
If Ezra hasn’t already graduated to “I did it before it was cool!” she will by the end of the week.
You drain an elf and you’re hungry again an hour later, no substance to them.
Have a couple of nice big rats and you’re full all day so you can get some sleep.
I’m noticing a trend in recent levels where recurring guest party members (Princess, Maddie, Stabs, Roxie, Presti) are meeting and (presumably in this case) allying with antagonists (current or former) they hadn’t met previously, like Maddie and Y.T. (reformed), Stabs and Wa-*ahem* Anti-Madeline (SNAFU), and now Roxie and Ezra (pending). Talk about strange bedfellows.
I note that Ezra is not exactly drinking the rat’s blood here. She seems to be eating the rat. Could it be that she’s a Nagaraja? The White Wolf Wiki says: ‘The Nagaraja are unlike other Kindred in that they must consume flesh, making them among the most reviled and “unnatural” of the bloodlines.’ — would fit with the theme and the intro, wouldn’t it? At least she isn’t mainstream…

Well.
Well.
Well.
You certainly have come down in the world since we last saw you. Is dumpster diving cool? Or are you doing it ironically?
(One notes that certain speculations have panned out.)
Why rats, even? Vampire weaknesses or no, she’s still a whole entire vampire and there’s pasty elves everywhere that she could eat. Does she just have a taste for rat?
Simple.
Everyone eats humanoids and nearly no one eats rats. Duh.
Eating elves is SO cliche
It’s always handy to eat something that you can summon.
Eating elves is like drinking a decaf mochachino pumpkin-spice latte’… of course she is eating rats instead!
Noone cares about rats. If she tried to eat some humanoid, someone might start putting together adventuring party to kill her.
… ok, maybe if she eat some lawyer, that could be safe.
Are trying to tell us you’ve never snacked on junk food?

It’s a vintage dumpster.
We definitely can’t handle this and should run screaming now is quote from every campaign I have ever played
I see your group generally does not include munchkins.
Running screaming AT the enemy is still running screaming 🙂
“It’s bad, we’re leaving.”
Is my favourite variant of this is.
Well…
I certaintly wasn’t expecting to see the still very inmortal vampire here…
I guess she just figured out that sunlight no longer kills her now?
Short exposure to sunlight in shady alley. Would not convince ME it’s good idea to walk under full noon sun in open.
Well that’s an interesting face to see again. Maybe it shouldn’t be surprising.

Ah, huh, good catch, there.
Now I’m wondering what they’re doing dumpster diving in elven lands. Guess we’ll find out soon enough, though!
Stealing an artifact.
Given what she and her late brother did with their last artifact, our team should deal very severely with her.
Just a little reminder: Ezra doesn’t have -any- vampire weaknesses and is functionally immortal. She’s just unaware of it.
Shhhh not so loud
Guess who’s back. Back again.
Horrifying and humorous at the same time. Classic Rusty and co.
“No one’s ever taught you how to live out on street….
and now you have to get…used to it!”
She’s not living out on the street. Or anywhere else.
I’m impressed by everyone who can remember characters that showed up ages ago. XD
Ezra’s hard to forget. Though with medication and therapy, some people find the memories get marginally less intense.
She left an impression.
She’s leaving a couple more impressions now, judging by that last panel.
Idk, I don’t think this is the undead we’re looking for. Stealing magic artifacts to summon eldritch abominations is soooo mainstream now.
That would be a twist.

Agreed. I think she’ll end being pivotal in this adventure in some way, but she isn’t in the position to be the artifact thief.
She’s in her natural habitat.

Correction: Maddie and Y.T. did meet before, back in Level 6.

She ate pizza earlier. Perfectly normal for her. Drinking blood is so cliche
